John was extremely professional and responsive in communication. Any time I had a question he either called me or text me back very quickly. And he took the time to help explain things I didn’t understand, using layman’s terms, which was very helpful! He came in person to my house to give the original bid, and followed up in person when the work was complete. He has been doing this work for years and you can tell this just by speaking to him for a few minutes. His knowledge of his work is great. His staff are amazing - friendly, CLEAN, and overall work is outstanding. I love my new kitchen and would highly recommend Big John’s Remodeling.

Had used Big John's before at the recommendation of a neighbor. Had issues with delays but workmanship was decent. Had bid a painting job to them after the fact and the estimate was outrageously high so assumed they did not want the job and priced themselves out of it on purpose or figured we had the cash and they had us sold and we wouldn't bid it out to others. We went with someone else. However, had no complaints about the work they actually did. So when new work was required (see above) we wanted the workmanship to match what was previously done and we contacted John again. He came quickly to give us a bid and indicated he could get the work started rather quickly once the tiles we ordered came in. Updates did not come from Big John's unless we asked for them. And in each case little progress was made until almost two months went by before any work had started on the project (estimate was performed mid June and was hoping to get the work done by August to put the place not he market). Took forever to get the work started and completed and missed the original deadline. Paid John in installments, but withheld the last installment until I could see progress on the place and until funds were available. Paid the last installment 2 weeks after he had asked for it and started to get rather aggressive emails from John, even though I had paid him in July for the materials and he took almost 2 months to even start! On the whole, very unresponsive, either takes on too many jobs to handle or prioritizes based on job size... But regardless intellectually dishonest by telling us he can start right away but leaving us hanging with delay after delay. Estimates are not that competitive either and job seems a little pricey with fees for travel time etc inflating the total. Will likely not use this company again and would not recommend, especially if timing is a priority.

The Big John's carpenter arrived on time and completed the required work on schedule. The carpenter was very careful in handling the doors after removal and avoided any and quot;dingsand quot; to the walls as the doors were carried outdoors for the trimming. I was totally satisfied with their service and would use them for other carpentry needs.

I think they stand out really well and they do a good job. I don't know of anything that they canto particularly better because to me they do pretty well. I think they're reasonable.

They did a very professional, quality job and very friendly service. I had a small leak right after the services the next day. They came out on a Saturday to fix a defective part on the toilet with no charge to me. I would recommend them to others as well as use them again on future projects.

I first hired John to remodel an upstairs bathroom, so that I could put a washer and dryer in their.  I also asked him about several cracked walls.  He discovered that the original contractor I had hired to add a second story had not used headers in the open doorways to support the addition, thus causing the crack.  He and his crew fixe this problem and many others they discover.  Needles to say, the next time I needed some work done called John.  Everything he does is in a quality manner and I trust him completely.  He always responds when I call him and never becomes irritated with my many questions, concerns and changes.  John has hired Jason in the past few years, he is the best worker I have ever seen.  He is extremely competent and can do any job extremely well.  He just tiled my dining room and kitchen in a basket weave pattern and it turned out beautiful.  I can recommend John and Jason highly to anyone for their  home remodeling needs, big and small
