Menke Hauling Inc

I had recently contracted with a fencing company to install a fence around my back yard, which has a downward slope to a lake. When we discussed the type of fence I decided to go with a cedar picket fence, but when we discussed the 8 ft double gate I was told that a wooden fence couldn't be used because the land sloped downhill about 15 degreen toward the lake and also 15 degrees sideways towards the woods. I was told the fence would have to be chain link. I thought this would take away from the overall look but it was right before they started the job that I asked about having dirt brought in to level the area for the gate. I knew it was a large area that needed to be leveled and graded not just for the gate, but also a gentle slope for the lawn tractor. And, of course, time was runnig out! I called a couple of landscapers who didn't have the equipment for the job and discovered Mr. Menke in the local paper. I called him and he returned the call in short order. I explained as best I could what I needed and he came out to see for himself what the job required. It has been the rainiest fall in my memory and he explained that they couldn't dig until things dried out a little, but because of pressure from the fencing company I knew I didn't have a lot of time. Mr. Menke worked with me, moved my job up on his list, brought in the dirt yesterday and came back today with the Bobcat and had to work around the poles that had already been set to spread out, level and grade the area so that no dirt was over the concrete around the poles and pushed some of the dirt to the side so I would have leftover dirt to use as the dirt settled over the winter. Mr. Menke was friendly, professional and very accommodating to both my needs and the needs of the fencing company. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
