CALDWELL LAWN CARE INC

My previous lawn care company had lost a couple of their staff members in my area and would no longer be able to provide service. They called me, sent a nice letter, and negotiated with Caldwell to take over their accounts at the same price. They did all of this before it was even time to begin mowing. My experience with Caldwell has not been nearly as pleasant. They initially called and sent me a contract to sign. This contract indicated I would be getting a certain number of mowings this year. I didn't want to commit to that many since my lawn just doesn't grow very quickly, so I didn't sign and told them to send me another without the stipulation. They never did. Instead, they mowed my lawn 7 times and then sent me a general letter indicating that I was no longer profitable for them (my summarization). There was no phone call or transition period. They just sent a letter and stopped coming. I travel extensively during the summer, which is why I need a lawn company. This is was a serious inconvenience, as I had to try and vet new companies in the middle of the season, when I'm only home a day or two during the week. As a final note, I imagine they work well for others, since they are one of the most popular companies in the area. However, this was definitely not my experience.
