GUTTER TOPPER OF ST LOUIS

Last year the Gutter Topper was placed on top of my gutters. The company marketed their product with a life time guarantee. The home would be aesthetically pleasing, and debris would not collect in the gutters, rain flow also would not be obstructed. If any of this changed Gutter Topper would clean the gutters at not cost to me. Well, 2/09 leaves were sticking up out of the gutter topper, and it looked awful from the street. I called Gutter Topper a man came out and removed the leaves. The man then called me on a cell phone from my driveway, while I was home, and told me the gutter cleaning was not part of the warranty, and the leaves were not going to obstruct rain flow. He told me the next time I called to have the gutters cleaned I would have to pay for it. He refused to remove the product and refund my money. This product was a waste of money. I'm going to have the gutter toppers removed, and just pay someone to clean my gutters once a year.

I thought my gutters would have to be replaced too, but when the men came out to do the work they said I didn't need new gutters. They were very honest and actually saved me $280. The Terminator comes with a warranty. I called and asked if I could get a copy of it and he said that he already registered it for me and will send a copy of the warranty with the receipt. Very pleasant experience.

They came and talked to us about the work that needed to be done. They were professional. They did a thorough clean up afterwards and were excellent throughout. I definitely recommend them.

We had bought Gutter Topper 8 yrs ago. It has a 20 yr warranty. We called the company, and they were extremely busy. I explained that it was going to rain, and my husband or I was in no condition to climb a latter to clean the gutters out. Gerry from Gutter Topper said he would try to get someone out there as soon as possible. He actually came out the SAME day. We found that our guttering on the house (installed over 50 yrs ago) was pulling away from the house and in bad condition. Gerry gave us a quote on new guttering. We agreed and it was installed within a couple days, using the original Gutter Topper, which was still good and under the 20 yr warranty. The job looks great, and the guys were professional and cleaned up any mess from the old guttering.

We were very pleased with the appearance and with the overall quality of Gutter Topper's work. The gutters divert water flow away from the house very effectively. The work was finished in a timely fashion.

Salesman came to job site with samples of colors, many to choose from. Matched our exterior color exactly! Crew was on time and finished in half a day. Kept work site clean.

THEY HAVE A VERY GOOD PRODUCT BUT THEY DID NOT KEEP US INFORMED OF WHEN THEY WERE COMING TO INSTALL THEM. WHEN THEY DID COME AND DO THE INSTALL, THEY DID NOT INTRODUCE THEMSELVES OR LET ME KNOW THEY WERE DONE.

THE MAN WAS NICE, BUT REQUIRED MORE PEOPLE SKILLS. HE WAS GOOD AT HIS TRADE, BUT HE DIDN'T SEEM LIKE A REAL PEOPLE PERSON.
