I only write reviews if something was outstanding or very poor, Terry and his crew are outstanding. I let my yard get overgrown with unwanted trees, weeds, and a brush pile the size of a small car. In 4 hours they did what would take me 4 weeks. They gave me an estimate very quickly after getting info about my job, and after talking to friends about the scope of the job it was very reasonable. Would recommend for any of your outdoor needs.

Please Know: $80 Per Man Hour and $100 Per Yard Hardwood Mulch Does Not Guarantee A Job Well Done. Planting Beds Full Of Grasses And Weeds In Less Than Two Weeks, In Spite Of A Four To Six Inch Layer Of Mulch Applied. Additionally, Roots Were Left From Bushes Removed. Owner Suggests I Spray With Roundup!! Unfortunate, In That I Was Hoping For A Year-Round Maintenance Partnership. Karen In Kirkwood

"Hi [Member Name Removed], I appreciate your feedback. This is the first I am hearing about any roots left behind. I will be happy to send the crew back to remove any remaining roots above the surface at no extra cost. We can always apply the weed killer for you on a 2 week interval to make sure everything dies for an extra cost. We scraped the grass and removed the weeds and bushes at root level. We put a nice thick coating of mulch. We cannot guarantee that your vegetation will not try to grow back. Especially on a heavily overgrown mulch bed. It involves continuous maintenance too keep weeds from growing. Please give us a call and we can set up a time to send the crew back to remove any roots above ground. Sincerely, Terry"

Three guys showed up and started working. They were done in 2 hours. I wish I had taken before pictures, because you can’t begin to understand what shape things were in when they started. They did a beautiful job. Even went above and beyond by pulling weeds from between the bricks in my patio. That wasn’t part of the job. They rocked an area out by the alley. I had not ask for new weed barrier there, but they put it down because the old barrier was almost non existent. I am so thrilled! I will most definitely hire them next spring. I waited far too long this year thinking I could get it done myself.

I tried to contact them via Angie's list but did not get a response. Then went to their website and got a very prompt response. I told Terry what I needed, including other work that has not been done yet. I had the measurements of the area to be mowed and we agreed upon a price. He also agreed to come out that afternoon and look at the other job to give me a price on that. I was at work when I talked to him but was off that afternoon. When I got home, I was amazed to see that the lawn had already been mowed and was a very good job! They treated the job exactly the way I would have. Can't ask more than for someone to treat your property the way they would their own. The price was a little high for the small area mowed, but I understand that there has to be a minimum, otherwise it is not worth their time to even come out, however, after Terry came to look at the other job and saw the area that his guys had mowed, he said he would knock off $10 for future mowing. I have hired him for the other job as well and will review that once it is done.

I talked with the owner, Terry Obermiller about leaf removal. He gave me a general bid of $300. The price would depend on the time it took to blow the leaves & vacuum them up. I accepted the bid. I asked that they come the first week in December when most of my leaves would have fallen. Two of his employees showed up December 8. They worked from about 12:30pm to 2pm. They did a great job on the leaves & clean-up. Was very pleased with the work.

They arrived on time and did the expected work that I requested. I was at work while they were at my home, but I received calls from family during the project telling me how hard the guys were working. They cleaned and removed all debris and were very polite and courteous with my family. I even received a text from a neighbor wanting their company info at mid-day because she was impressed with their workmanship. When I returned home in the evening, I was pleased with the work done and felt they were worth every penny. Highly recommend and will definitely call them again.

They did a good job and I let them know the first time. They gave an estimate and then changed it raising it by $10. I did not have a problem with that. The second time they never showed up and called saying they were not going to cut my lawn.

"We went above and beyond for this customer. We do not call customers before we come to cut the grass. I tried to explain this to her but she was insistent on having us cut her grass. Long story short when we came to cut the grass after setting up a time we would be there she was not there. Her review is false! I could go into greater detail but it would cost me more in labor to have people wait on her than a simple mowing is worth."

Gutter Cleaning
Crew was fast and professional, completed work in less an 30 mins; my only issue was the price it seemed a bit high given that we have gutter guards and we really only needed the debris removed from the top. I was initially quoted a lower price but was called back before the crew was officially booked and informed it would be higher. I assumed that once they saw the actual house and work to be done the price could go back down. I was wrong, as the crew only does the work and the price is set by the office. This is just a lesson learned for me, and I do not think that Genuine did anything wrong per say; the price just seemed a bit high for the actual work being done.

They fixed a drainage problem that was causing a leak in my house. For the real, hard work, they had the guy who runs the company was here doing it and very responsible and did a good job. He fixed things up and I don't have to worry about leaking and things like that. The lawn service has been great, so I've been real pleased with that.
