Fossil Flooring

My third time using Fossil and just as good as the other two times. The owner and crew are very professional and nice. They removed all the carpet from a great room and two bedrooms. Then they installed luxury vinyl planking. Cleaned up behind themselves well. The floors are beautiful. Highly recommend them.

This is the second time we have had Fossil flooring out to our house. They have now installed 100% of all the flooring in our home. They did an absolutely superb job installing the LVP (LVT but in planks that look like wood) and the porcelain tile. Quality work and easy to work wit .

They removed old flooring in kitchen and two bathrooms. Then installed tile in kitchen and laminated flooring in bathrooms. This is the second time I have used them and they do a wonderful job. Floors look good and they left no mess.

No problems, they were on time, professional, good workmanship and the floors look great. I had them put down the same kitchen floor that they had done in 2008 at another home. That floor looked as good 10 years later as it had when Daniel put it in, so I wanted the same thing in the new house. They also did both bathroom floors. Fossil lays the flooring but you select and pay for the material at a company named ProSource. So, the labor cost was $2,367.00 but the material was $1,712.54 (this was for DuraCeramic and sheet vinyl).

Daniel the owner showed up with an associate ahead of the original schedule, which was great and I really appreciated him being able to fit me in earlier than I had agreed to. They did a great job, were very pleasant to be around and I would definitely recommend them.

They pay attention to detail. One of the pieces needed fixed, and they came over and said why it needed to be fixed. I wasn't home for the installation, my wife was very happy with how they treated the furniture.

He did a nice job laying the carpet after a mixup in the ordering of the carpet.

We started the process in December, 2016 with getting estimates and hired Daniel in January to do the job. He came and did the initial measuring and explained the process in clear understandable language. That first day, he even returned later with multiple samples from different stores to show different options for hardwood flooring. Mr. Evans works with Lisa Bond at ProSource in Fenton and scheduled for us to meet with her on picking out our floor. We delayed installation in order to have some additional work done in our home and Daniel was patient with waiting for that to be completed. Upon initial installation, they found inconsistencies with the boards and immediately stopped the job. They had the flooring evaluated and new flooring was shipped immediately. This delayed the job again, but it was well worth it for the finished product.

Daniel and John were wonderful to work with. True professionals, we could tell from the start that no corners would be cut and that there was the utmost attention to quality and detail. They did our whole home ensuring that there was minimal disruption. Every evening they cleaned up thoroughly and every morning arrived promptly. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the work they did. Great guys too! Highly recommended!

Daniel was very easy to work with, patiently answered all of my questions (of which I had a lot) and did a great job on all three installations. I am very happy with the results and wouldn't hesitate to use Fossil Flooring in the future.

In August 2015 another contractor remodeled the second floor bedroom and walkin closet.  Before we had that done, we called Fossil to hire them to lay the carpet in the bedroom, two stairways, and carpet in the hallway. We had hired them previously, were satisfied, so requested no other proposals.  So they put us on their schedule as soon after August as possible.  On 9-12-15 they gave us a professional, detailed proposal just for the labor.  They send us to ProSource to choose the carpet, for which we paid separately.  Fossil coordinates smoothly with ProSource, which we already knew from their other work for us.They scheduled the installation well in advance for 10-8-15 and 10-9-15.  The workers arrived at 8:30 am as promised, were polite, professional, cleaned up.  They returned 10-9-15 early to finish.  They left us a few large leftover pieces for any repairs we might need later.  Daniel Evans, the owner came by to inspect the work and make sure I was satisfied.  He removed all debris.  I am happy with the results and will hire them again.

Excellent! From initial contact to finish. They were polite, meticulous and hard working. They installed everything with close attention to detail. One worker said they work as if they were installing in their own home. Very easy to see how much they take pride in what they do. Daniel, the owner, worked alongside his crew.
I LOVE the results. They vacuumed, wiped down, swept and returned everything back to how it was before they started. My house is a little dusty but that is to be expected with lots of sawing. They put up barriers that did prevent most of the residue. 
Daniel works with ProSource for products. Lisa was excellent to work with. I was spinning with ideas and overwhelming myself. She was patient and worked with me as I finally figured out what I wanted to do and what materials. The order process was smooth. Her material and flooring expertise really helped.
We DEFINITELY plan to use Fossil Flooring again soon.

I needed my carpet up quick! I called Daniel at 8am on the Saturday before Christmas and he was able to do the job that day! He and his crew came in like the wind and finished the job in one hour!  They removed each and every staple and carted away all the old carpet.  They left the room and furniture in perfect order! It almost looked like they cleaned the hardwood floor that was laying under the carpet, it looked so nice and clean after they left. Super job!

Daniel did an amazing job on our floors.  We had the floors installed while we were on vacation and were unsure what to expect when we got home since we had never replaced flooring in our prior homes.  The result far exceeded our expectations!  The hardwood floor was perfect and he even went the extra effort of refinishing a transition piece that my husband had made when we put in tile floors in our kitchen.  It was a piece of wood that previously matched our very light colored carpeting but Daniel took that piece and refinished it to match the darker hardwood.  The carpet was seamlessly installed with no dings on the wood trim at all.  We couldn't be more pleased with our flooring and so appreciative of Daniel's hard work.

As a side note - Daniel referred us to Prosource flooring to select our materials for the job.  Lisa Bond was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the various flooring types.  She guided us right to the flooring types that fit our style criteria and were in our price range.  We had flooring selected and ordered within 24 hours of our first meeting with Lisa!

Daniel and his crew, John, Buddy, and Chris, were awesome from minute one. Daniel was very informative during the bid process and was right on time. He gave me all my options, explained how his pricing worked, and sent my bid by email about two days later. His prices were very competitive, and ultimately less expensive when you look at all the details. Daniel is an installer, which means you purchase most of the supplies elsewhere. He does work with ProSource for the flooring supplies, although you don't have to use them, and gives you a list of the things he needs. This is one place where his pricing was better than other installers. Things like nails, caulk, a cleaning kit, and felt pads for the furniture were included in his price, where they were extras you had to buy for other installers. I also got a discount for being an Angie's List member. I did buy my flooring supplies from ProSource, where Lisa helped me. I knew the color that I wanted and she worked diligently to find that color in my budget. Needless to say, my floors are gorgeous, and Daniel has been easily accessible for any questions or issues. They were constantly cleaning up after themselves, and professional. Daniel was also spot on when he told me how long the job would take. I would recommend them to everyone, and would definitely hire Fossil Flooring again! Thanks so much, Daniel!

It was great working with Dan and his crew.  I was very comfortable in asking questions and discussing the layout of the tile.
As expected there was some dust, but they went to great lengths to make sure the dust was kept to a minimum.  This was especially appreciated since my wife is allergic to dust.  
I could tell that the entire group took pride in their work and it showed in their workmanship. 
Our new tile is 24inch x 24inch which from what all the contractors have told me is harder to make right.  These guys did it.... and they did it without making one scratch on any of the walls.  
We will be doing some more floors in the future and will definitely ask them for a bid for the new work.

I hired Daniel earlier this year to remove carpeting and install laminate flooring in our family room.  His crew of Buddy and John did an awesome job.  Enough that I knew I would hire them again.  Buddy and John just got done about an hour ago removing carpeting and installing laminate flooring in the kitchen.  The kitchen job was a more detailed job due to moving the fridge, stove and cuts involved as opposed to the straight rectangular family room.  As before John and Buddy did an excellent job.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Fossil Flooring to anyone. 

Great communication with Dan and he is certainly customer focused.  Thanks Dan for another great job.
