Extremely professional, estimates were right on very prompt and thorough, offered great suggestions on how to improve things, his workmanship was great the workers needed to be monitored a little but he was on top of them he was extremely attentive to make sure the job was done right and anything that wasn't up to par he went and fixed and made it right

we have a unique job that needed to be done. hang a net between two volleyball courts from the ceiling that was almost 20 feet high.  Dean came out once to see the job, make sure it was doable, and give us a bid. The bid was fair and we decided to do the job. we had to deal with 3 different schedules of 3 different parties to get the job done, Dean was very accommodating. He gave us great  advise on things we needed ahead of time so we had everything ready to go. On the day of the job he installed the net with no problems and had the job done a few hours early and the cost was lower than the quote because of that.  would use him again in a second

Since it was a small bathroom only one workman was sent and it took him 5 days to complete the project. He was very professional and completed the job to my satisfaction.

I have used Fair Repai in the past and they have always done a professional and speedy job. This time was no exception.

I thought everything went well UNTIL the porch started popping up all over. All of a sudden the fence started to bow and the slates have moved far apart. The deck floor is starting to come up and overall it's uneven and is unsatisfactory. The problem I am having is Dean will not return my call. I called him shortly after I noticed the problems leaving a message of what was happening to the fence and porch, and no return call. I called a second time and again, no response.
I was surprised by this as I thought we had a good rapport and I already have talked to him about doing other things around my house. I called him after 2 weeks requesting he return my call and, once again, no call back. This says one thing to me, the man doesn't stand behind his company or his word.
I will not work with him again. His team did a good job but what good is a decent crew when the owner does not stand behind his word?

AMAZING!  Dean and his team really went above and beyond to make sure that I was a happy customer.   I got there 15 minutes early and they were already there ready to work.  They were knowledgeable, professional and had the most competitive quote.  Will definitely be using again.   5 Stars.  Thanks Dean, the sign looks great!

Jeff Stinson, the certiffied electrician for Fair Repair, came out and did a great job!!! he sure knows his stuff. Dean had come out prior and spent a tremendous amount of time going over all the possible improvement work I wanted done and gave me bids for each particular task. These guys are really professional and truly do give you a fair price for a fair days work. I was so pleased that I tell everyone at work about them and the job they did. I will certainly be calling them again to do work for me and will continue to refer them!!

Dean came by and looked at what we wanted done. within a couple of days even provided a written estimate via email. we didn't set up a date for the work to be done. the worker showed up on the date requested and perform the work. he did a good job in there no complaints.

Ed and Alex came to our house promptly and got to work. They really knew what they were doing and were very friendly and courteous. They did an excellent job on everything. The closet doors look great and the deck railing is now very sturdy. We felt the price was very fair for all the doors, paint, hardware, wood etc plus labor. We are extremely happy with the work. In fact we have hired them again  to powerwash and waterproof the deck and paint the  posts in our carport.

They were professional and did a very good job.

Called Fair Repair on Thursday and was told someone would be there the next day. The workman arrived on time the next day and got right into it. He had to run electric down the wall and install a switch for the disposal unit. Had to go to the supply store a couple of time for parts. He finished the work about 04:30 over 8 hours of work done. Everything worked perfectly. I will definitely use Fair Repair again.  

Work is still in progress, but so far so good.  The owner has been very punctual on contacting me and replying to the emails and calls.  During initial visit, he certainly appeared to be very knowledgeable wtih his business and seems to know where to purchase difficult to find parts, etc.   His crew has spent two days so far and are polite and courteous.  They are young, but the owner has dropped in both days to inspect their work and even had them redo a couple of items he was not satisfied with.  I have been pleased thus far and am optimistic that when all the work is complete it will be more than acceptable. 

Dean called me the same day that I sent an email. I asked if he'd be willing to come out and take a look at the house. We set up an appointment and he was right on time and the estimate was free. He took a look around the entire house inside and out, made some suggestions here and there and let me know the only thing that I absolutely should do was tuck pointing on the outside of the home to help with water coming into the basement.
He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, and didn't suggest anything that seemed trivial like some people might do to get extra work and money from someone. He really is a nice guy!
I had a quote through email within a few days and we set a time and day for the tuck pointing to be completed. His worker was on time, very nice and did a great job. Thanks! I feel better knowing that the exterior is sealed and won't cause future problems in the winter so water can't get in and freeze. Dean even came after the job was done to inspect it and make sure it was done right.
I will definitely hire Fair Repair for all my handyman needs in the future! I plan on keeping my home for many many years and will use them to make sure it is maintained properly. He also had the best hourly rates that I've heard of! Many handymen want $50-$100 just for an hour of work and if you have a medium sized project that can really hurt your wallet! I like the price and think they are named appropriately.
A fair days work for a fair day's pay!

Around the holidays, my dog managed to break a ground level window on my house.  The next day, two men were out from Fair putting a board up for protection.  The day after that, the window was replaced.
I was so impressed, that I wrote up a list of repairs that had needed to be done for a long time but my ex never got to, and I have not been able to do.  I got with Jeff - the one handling the work - and he helped prioritize my needs.
Regarding the downstairs bath, he first thought and estimated that the shower diverter just had to be replaced.  It turned out the entire faucet and handles had to be taken out, and an access panel put in.  Although it was a lot more work, he stuck with the original quote.
Jeff is professional and respectful, without being patronizing.
I plan to have much more done.

I realized mid-morning that I needed the work done and since the person we'd used for handyman work in the past had gone out of business I turned to Angie's List and found Dean.  He had someone at my house within three hours of my calling and I'm totally satisfied with the quality of the work.  So, not only do I appreciate Dean's responsiveness, I believe they did a fine job.

I needed someone to do a complicated tile job in my master bath.  It included working with a electrical contractor to put down a heated floor under the tile.  Dean and his team were great.  The electrical contractor had some issues getting the heated floor materials in and the project was delayed.  The guys at Fair Repair were great at scheduling around the delays.  Once the electrical contractor got his part done, Dean came the next day and got the tile started.  When an issue came up with the way I had planned to have the tile put down, Dean's team came up with a different way to do it that looked even better than I had imagined.

Dean was all over finding me someone to pull up some damp carpet within 1 day of my first call.  Chris was very pleasant and Dean himself came the first day to get everything moving.  I have since found many reasons to call, as they are absolutely reasonable, Chris is a nice person to work with, they are very prompt, the job is well done (exceeded all my expectations on 2 of the big jobs - fence/cleanup of my property). 
I will use them for all my home repair needs!

Went extremely well.  Dean and his Crew (Jeff / Cris/ Earl) were on time, professional, clean and worked quickly.  They were responsive to my schedule  (I was in a time crunch) and stuck to the jobs until all were completed.   I've written on good this company is in the past and just want to say one more time that they came through.  I know they are very experienced, and Jeff is a great certified electrician.  Wow, once again what a good job! Origionally I was given a 3 day time frame but Dean (the owner) had another job postponed for a couple of days so he got hiss full crew on my project and they were able to do everything in 1 day including site cleanup. Later that evening Dean came over to make sure everything was done to my satifaction which it was. I will definately be using Dean and Fair Repair in the future.

I was completely satisfied with the work that was done, the price, and the quality.  They were prompt and thorough.  Communication with Fair Repair was smoother than silk.  The name, Fair Repair, says it all.  It's a relief for me to have someone I can call to do work around my home that I have trust and confidence in.
