The technician that came to do the inspection and cleaning arrived promptly and was very efficient and thorough. He showed me where the crack was and explained how carbon monoxide was leaking as a result. After getting 2 other bids to replace the furnace, Comfort Solutions offered the lowest price and did a great job. 2 technicians worked steadily for 3 hours and completed the work. They were professional and kind throughout.

It was fine. They did charge more. They found the humidifier needed to be fixed. It was considerably more than the sixty nine dollars. We just wondered if that was really necessary to have that done. We didn't realize there was anything wrong. There wasn't an drip, or uncomfortable. He told us that was what needed to be done. We were left wondering. The price we thought was too much.

The furnace was going off during our real cold spell. I had trouble with it before. I would tap on it and it would come back on and run for a few days then it would go off again. I knew something was loose. I explained to the service tech what was happening. He said it needed a new circuit board. I believed him. He said he had to get one and didn't have one with him. He came back and put it in and didn't say what the cost would be until he was ready to leave. Then, I get a bill for $492! My credit card wouldn't work. He then took the cc to run it through. The furnace was 17 years old and is a Lennox. Saturday night, it went off again. I tried to get it going. I called my son-in-law to help. He called Comfort solutions. The tech was an hour late. He burst out laughing like I was nuts! I said, 'I paid all this money to fix it, you didn't tell me what you were going to charge until you were leaving. I might have wanted to get a new furnace.' I told him to take the circuit board out because that wasn't what it needed. I told him I had taken the door off earlier and it came back on - so it wasn't the circuit board. He called my son-in-law back and told him he wasn't going to fix it. He said he might reimburse the money for labor-(which would be around $300 or more). I called him last night. I asked if he was going to give part of the labor cost back to me? He said, 'no, I'll have to think about it for awhile.' My neighbor came over and looked at it. He said it sounds like a switch on the door. And sure enough, he looked at it and the door wasn't making contact with the switch and that's why it shutting off. There are 2 doors on the furnace (top & bottom). It was the bottom door that wasn't making contact. I told the tech and he said 'there isn't a switch on the door.' I think alot of companies will take advantage of women and are putting in parts to charge you unnecessarily. He threatened me when I said I was going to call the Attorney General's office and said 'you'll be sorry.' He also said, 'you need counseling and anger management!'

Showed up very quickly after my call.  Checked out the A/C and found the problem immediately.  Fixed the problem and explained what should be done in the future to keep the A/C running.  I was very happy with the work, service and price.

It went very good. I dealt directly with the owner and they did a tremendous job. He's very prompt. They got the work done within a week. They were very upfront and honest. We had small issues and they were taken care of immediately.

It went very well. It was less than I expected it to be. They had to do freon. I was told that I might need 1-2 lbs. When they filled it up it was only 1 lb., so it was charged and half of what I was expecting. I think we had to schedule about a week out and then we had to reschedule because of my schedule, so they were accomodating. They were on time. They have a window and they were at the edge of their window, but they were there between the times they said they would be there. I would recommend them. They were responsive and I got to talk to them within a day.

Contractor selection: I contacted several heating and air contractors on AngiesList via messaging asking for quotes.  I selected companies to message that had good ratings as well as those that had published deals.  Many contractors did not respond right away but Joe with Comfort Solutions called within a half hour and made an appointment for the same day.  After much research online checking out companies I decided to go with Comfort Solutions because of price, quality of equipment they would install (ComforMaker) and their warranty which is 3 yr parts and labor/10 yr limited warranty/20 yr heat exchanger.  Most companies only offered an initial 1 year parts and labor warranty.
Completion of work:  Joe was able to schedule us in 3 days and I was very pleased about that.  He arrived right on time at 9am as promised.  He explained everything he was going to do and went right to work. He stayed focused on the project and worked until it was completed.  He did not make that much noise.  He replaced  a small section of gas line and vent flue to fit the new unit.  He even cut in a filter slot to make filter changing easier.  He cleaned up well and used drop cloths to protect my carpet.  When he was done we made sure everything was working and he asked of I had any questions.  We kept the same thermostat so operation would remain the same.  The price was exactly what was quoted.
Recommendation:  I would recommend Joe and Comfort Solutions for your HVAC work.  He is honest, friendly, affordable and well professional.  I am happy with the installation.  Thanks Joe!

They came to do the service on Wen. and I needed my coils cleaned because it was included in the BD details.  Because the service didn't rectify the problem I had to have another provider come out and when they took one of the coils out it was dirty.  Comfort Solutions wrote in their writeup that the compressor wasn't working correctly.  The other provider as well told me I had nothing wrong with the compressor.

It went extremely well. There was a small upcharge ($20) because of the effort it took to get to the roof - numerous stairs with the ladder in tow, which I felt was reasonable. Additionally, when he explained everything after the fact, he answered my questions without making me feel silly, walked me through checks I can do myself in the future and recommended I not get a regular inspection, because my unit avoids a lot of wear and tear thanks to it being away from dirt and people.
I appreciated his honesty with that (in addition to fixing my unit) even though it meant I would be spending less money.
