Cabinet Coverup

Cabinet Coverup is quite possibly the most professional and responsive contractor we've ever worked with. They respond quickly to every inquiry with very detailed information and were flexible throughout the entire project. We were able to work with one contractor to organize the microwave installation, counter-top and sink installation, and the cabinet refacing. This made everything much less stressful than it could have been. The counter-top and microwave was installed in one day and the cabinets took another 2 1/2. Much quicker and easier than replacing the cabinets.
The craftsmanship is amazing. We received sales pitches and quotes from two other companies and neither provided the quality of product that Cabinet Coverup did. Both were very comparable or higher in price.

This is a small family owned company that was recommended to me by a friend who had her kitchen cabinets refaced by Cabinet Coverup. My particular job had a few glitches and a bit of frustration involved making the project take quite a bit longer than the approximately six weeks originally stated by the owner, Jeff. I am, however, giving them an "A" because the finished product is wonderful. If you did not know it, you would never know that the cabinets are not brand new. The quality of the products that they use is excellent. They reface every exposed area as well replacing the cabinet doors and drawer fronts with a good quality wood product. My cabinets were the original grainy oak that were installed when we built our home 22 years ago. The refacing wood is a much better quality than the original ones installed at construction. I understand that problems can arise and with my job, they did. But, Jeff, the owner, and Laurie, his wife, and administrative go-to person, did all that they could to resolve each issue. One of the installers is Bob, Jeff's dad. Bob's workmanship is beyond excellent and he is a real work horse. Another important thing to me was that Cabinet Coverup is very careful during the work process. They covered my hardwood floors with cardboard and they really did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves at the end of the project. My kitchen is pretty large and it took three days to complete the project. At completion, my cabinets looked brand new!

This project went very well and it turned out even better than we had hoped. The communication was great and the project proceeded well within the promised time frame. Our cabinets look awesome and we couldn't be happier. The original valance we received didn't have the edging on it like we wanted so it was reordered and installed a couple of weeks later, as promised. We feel they went out of their way to make sure to answer all of our questions and to make sure we were happy with the work.
