Anco Overhead Door Service, Inc.

I recently had Anco come out and repair my garage door. Greg was awesome and had my garage door and tracks and cables (which I messed up pretty good trying to fix myself) back working in a very short time. The cost was very reasonable and much better than another company that told me I needed a new door and assembly. The overall experience was fantastic and I highly recommend Anco for garage door work. I will definitely use them the next time I need garage door service.

I waited until 8:30 and, since I have not received any phone calls, decided to call some other company (The Wright Door). As the result the Wright Door told me they will charge me $120 for the spring repair and will be in my house in an hour. 10 minutes later Anco all of the sudden showed at my house and since I was not there at the time my wife let them in and they replaced it in 15 minutes by the time I got back. The technician could not care less about the scheduling issue. He charged me $174 and left. I had to call the other company and stop their technician who was by then on his way to my house. When I called Anco to complain they did say sorry, but it sounded like they really did not believe me that nobody called to talk to me about the timing of the repair and its cost before getting to my house...

They were able to schedule us for same day service. They were true to the appointment time line and phoned us approximately twenty minutes before their arrival time. The tech was friendly and professional. He assessed the problem and completed the repairs quickly.

The technician determined that it only needed an adjustment and the repair was completed promptly. I really appreciated the honesty and savings.

Excellent. Only took about an hour. Arrived on schedule.

The technician was not very personable or friendly. It took him less than 10 minutes to replace the sensors and the price was $208.00. This is an insane amount to pay for someone on a fixed income (or for anyone for that matter) . I will not be using this company again although they were prompt and the person I spoke to initially was very friendly the price was out of proportion for the job performed.

Prompt service, finished the work quickly. Used the Angie's List deal to replace our broken spring, and they offered a very fair price to replace the second one; so we also had it replaced. Good experience. Would use them again!

It went well. They came quickly and the work was completed satisfactorily.

Installed misadjusted the springs during initial installation.  They charged me a service call to correct the installation error because it had been over 60 days from the date of installation when it failed. That seems very unfair.  I would not recommend doing business with this company.  They do not stand behind their work.
