Tony got our 30 plus year old gaslight globe and mantles replaced, everything cleaned, lubricated the screws for easy removal of the top, and it looks like new. Great communication and responsiveness from Mary and Tony. Very impressed and would highly recommend.

It took several months for Tony to come out because I called late in the season and their time had been booked. He did come out two months later and inspected my two fireplaces and started listing issues that would have to be addressed. He certainly seemed knowledgeable which I appreciated. He said that he would work on a 3 part plan to take care of these issues and would get back to me in a few days. He charged me $95 and I felt pretty good that my issues would be addressed. I didn't hear from him in over a week so I emailed him to ask about the plan. A week later, December 21, he responded saying he was busy with end of year jobs and would get back to me soon. I have heard nothing from Tony or All Gas. I send another email in mid-March of 2019 asking if he and his company planned on helping. Again, I have heard nothing. From reading other reviews, he must make other people happy, but it has been nothing but frustrating for me and my family. I felt I had to write this so that people would know they might also go through this same frustration.
Response from All Gas Installation & Fireplace Inc
"Our apologies in our delay in getting you a quote. We do appreciate your patience over our peak season and thank you for the follow-up. Our records indicate that we did submit a quote through our system in March 2019. Unfortunately, due to a glitch with our new quoting software (sending emails to customers using a generic software return email address instead of our email address), our quotes were ending up in our customer's SPAM folder. This was brought to our attention thanks to many customers sharing your same frustration following up with a phone call or quick email when they did not receive our quote in the timeframe discussed with our technicians during our initial appointment. I have personally resent the quote through our company email and should be in your Hotmail inbox this morning. If you have any additional questions or concerns or if still have not received our quote, please feel free to call the office at 636-305-1330. Our company values put customer service and customer satisfaction as a top priority and would like to again offer our sincerest apologies."

The company is very easy to work with. Phone rep explained all charges, services, and how much space the tech would need so he could properly clean and check the system. Tech was honest, friendly, did not try to sell us an entire new system or fancy remote ignition, replaced the old 27 yrs + pilot light system, cleaned the fireplace and showed us and explained the proper way to set up the logs. We are very pleased we chose this company and highly recommend it.

Tony our service technician was great. Fully inspected our fireplace assessed issue and quickly resolved it. He took extra time to explain proper maintenance as well as sent us a manual so we could learn more about our fireplace.

We are very pleased with this company and their work. My fireplace and chimney were inspected and I was given several options. They were very professional and the price was fair. I did not feel any pressure to buy a more expensive solution; the recommended product is perfect. I also liked that the same person that did the inspection/estimate was who completed the install. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. This company is definitely worth exploring if you are looking to update a non functional fireplace or convert from wood to gas.

Technician was completely professional, on time, and didn't appear to be in a rush. He explained everything he was doing to help my understanding. For $125 I feel like it was a good value. Will use again!

Tony did a great job!  He arrived as scheduled and with cleaning was able to get my fireplace working without additional cost for parts.  He also repaired a log that was broken and affecting the appearance of the flame.  I especially appreciated the tips he gave me for keeping critical parts clean to preclude the problem I had from recurring.  He also gave me a tip about a vent-free gas fireplace I have but that was not within the scope of this visit.

The service technician, Tony, arrived during the scheduled appointment time.  He quickly discovered what he believed to be the a problem with the pilot light ... it needed adjustment as it was too low to keep the thermocouple heated properly.  He took out all the logs, inspected and cleaned everything while being extremely careful not get any soot in the house and then reassembled the logs and underlaying material.  He made the adjustment to the pilot light and then gave the fireplace a safety inspection checking for C02 in the room while it was running etc. He explained everything he did and why it should fix the problem.  Three days later the fireplace is working great so it appears the pilot light was indeed the problem.  I now have All Gas in my contacts for future reference and would most definitely recommend to others. The price seemed reasonable to me and was in keeping with other "cost for a service call" estimates I was quoted. Overall, extremely satisfied with the service performed!

The gas company found one of the gas lines was not holding pressure and also said I needed a safety value on our downstairs fireplace. I called three companies and explained the situation and was told I would need an entire new unit for the valve and finding and repairing the the leak could be a costly situation. Estimates started at $800 and went up from there. This was before anyone looked at the situation. I called All Gas and explained the situation and asked if they handled such repairs. I was cheerfully told that this is what they do. I booked an appointment with them, a month before they had an opening, but I'm extremely glad I waited for this company. The owner, Tony Schmitt, did the service. He listened to the problem and started checking areas where the leak could be with a sensor. Fortunately he found where the leak in the line was happening, replaced the pipe and installed the new safely valve. He reset the logs in both our fireplaces and made sure both were properly working. The bill was $515. Tony was extremely professional and quite knowledgable regarding gas fireplaces. He explained things to me as he was checking everything out and made sure I understood fully the repairs needed and the cost. This is the first review I have ever written. I'm doing so because I felt very fortunate to have used All Gas for my repair and not one of the other companies I spoke with concerning my situation.

It went very well. Tony confirmed the appointment the day before via email and showed up during the allotted time. He was very polite, prompt and explained everything he was doing. He advised us that our logs probably had 5-10 years remaining on them and explained why. I received quotes for $170 for similar work (paid $250), however, becuase of Tony's expertise and ease of appointment scheduling, we went with him. He was more expensive, but worth it for the knowledge to avoid having a repairman come back (hopefully!).

Tony Schmitt, the repairman, found that our fireplace was putting out a great deal of carbon monoxide...the most he had ever seen. Initially, he thought we would need a new fireplace, but took time to investigate further.  He went outside and checked the chimney and found that the cap of the chimney was too small and not venting properly.  I told him that, after a tornado, we had a new roof and chimney cap installed.  The company that installed the cap had done it improperly.  It could have killed us.  Luckily, there was some kind of smell that alerted me to the problem.  It wasn't the carbon monoxide as it does not smell.  I'm very grateful that Tony found the real problem and didn't just put in a new fireplace.
I highly recommend this company and will use them for all chimney needs.  I don't know why they are not listed under chimney sweeps on Angie's list.

We contacted Tony about a month ago regarding our fireplace's ventless gas log setup that we knew needed to be replaced.  Tony returned my call promptly and scheduled a time with me to come out and take a look.  Tony arrived promptly and quickly evaluated what we have and presented options on suitable replacements.  He also took a look at our gas grill and let us know what parts to order to get that working again as well.  Tony provided a quote for his work and then left us to decide what logs we liked and when/if we wanted to move forward.
About a week later I let Tony know we had made a selection and were ready to move forward.  Our first install appointment needed to be rescheduled due to some unexpected gas line work at our house and Tony was totally flexible about rescheduling.
On the day of install, Tony called to let us know he was on his way and arrived as expected.  He quickly got to work and had all work completed within a couple hours.  He probably would've been finished even sooner had it not been for an unexpectedly missing piece on our grill that he had to run out and get to complete that portion of the project.
We are very happy with our now working fireplace and would recommend All Gas to anyone needing this type of work.  We had a great experience and expect others will as well.
