He refused to help to fix the porch. We were going to have to have piers put into the porch to correct the issue. We had to involve an engineer and the city and police department before he would come to fix the issues with the porch. We had to hire an engineer to look at the issues and was told that since he didn't put the footing in the porch would cause the face of the house to slide off the hill. When Nielsen spoke with the engineer he lied to him regarding his knowledge of the roof we were putting in, which he had submitted a drawing to the city including both the porch and roof. When he did return to do the work he broke our sidewalk and destroyed our yard, over filling cement and costing $4,000 in damages, which he refuses to fix now. In my personal opinion he was a real nightmare, I want to warn people to stay away from Nielsen as he is very unprofessional. Update: 8/2/2016 The case gets worst. We can not sue him because he did not give us a contract. Thousands of dollars of damages.
