Scheduling the assessment was hard to do as I guess they were busy with "big deal" sales. When he did come out, he was very nice and professional. He also had good ideas. Obtaining the drawings was harder than I expected with a long lapse in time. Again, perhaps it was because of the number of "big deal" sales. I was interested in more than just the drawings---I wanted someone to perform the work. My experience with the company on obtaining the drawings and the long lapse/unresponsiveness led me elsewhere to get this work done. Of course, that company provided free drawings along with their estimate and I didn't use the drawings provided by this company--a wasted $49 for me.

"I'm sorry that we were unable to help you with your landscape project. I have to say I was surprised by this review as we had numerous emails back and forth trying to set up a time that would work within your schedule. On May 21st I tried to set up a meeting with you for the first week of June. You said that wouldn't work and that you would get back to me. You contacted me on June 24th to set up a time. We were able to get together on July 10th. I sent you a color rendered drawing 6 days later. On July 20th this was your reply: Hi Tom thanks for sending this. Sorry for the delay....we have been reviewing and chatting. There are many things we like about it. We like the "vibe" you are capturing! We would like to see a firepit incorporated. We also forgot to mention that we would like to have the option of a pergola at a later time....over the patio area most likely. We would like to consider a bit more landscaping around the perimeter of the patio nearest the house. The area with grass and pavers isn't something we had thought about but we both liked it and are open to it! look forward to your additional ideas---we think you are capturing the spirit of our home very well. On August 1st I sent you a revised drawing incorporating the additional things that you wanted shown in the landscape. I gave you some budget numbers to think about. I asked you if you would like to set up another time for us to get back together. I did not hear back from you and that was our last correspondence."

It didn't. We were kind of hoping to get a bid from him on completing our back yard, but we never received the bid. Guess he wasn't interested in doing the work or didn't need the work, which is fine, but it would have been nice to know one way or the other.

The actual work was great! The work was completed in the amount of time for which I paid, and it was amazing they were able to remove the debris, trees, and weeds so effectively. The only small issue was it took the provider a while to get to this job, due to a huge response to his ad on Angie's List.

Tom provided both a "blueprint" draft and a color draft. Very well done, love the layout of the backyard design. It included paver patio with sitting walls, pergola, landscaping, BBQ. We are currently working on final details of the design and cost of construction. He's been very helpful in addressing needs to block sun and "privacy" for layout.

We love the design and so far we are pleased with willingness to work with in our budget. Very responsive to getting back to us with answers to our questions and concerns and willing to handle last minute requests. Very professional and helpful. Will review again when the work gets done. Work is now complete and looks fantastic. The workers are perfectionists at getting the patio and steps to meet with the doors. They are really awesome and always pick up.Tom may take a little while to get back with you in the busy season but he always does and he has already replaced plants that didn't survive even with our constant watering. The only thing left to do is seal the patio's! We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome!!

I purchased a landscape deal on Angie's site - 8 hours of work for the price of 4 hours. Tom came out to look at what we wanted done soon after I purchased the deal. I asked if he could get the work done by a certain day, which was about 3 weeks away, He never said he could but, he also didn't say he couldn't. He emailed me an estimate the next day. I approved it and he said he follow up with a time. Ten days later I still hadn't heard from him. I emailed him and told him we were leaving town in a few days (this was the day I had hoped to have the work done by) and he could do the work while we were gone but he would have to wait for payment until we were back. He replied and said he hoped to come before we left. Needles to say he did not come before we left nor did he come the two weeks we were gone. When we returned home I wrote to him outlining the sequence of events since our agreeing to the contract and asked for our money back since he seemed to have taken on more work than he could handle. He showed up the next day with his crew and did the job. We were initially very impressed with Tom's knowledge and looked forward to his company doing the work. Though we understand weather plays a great role in a landscapers schedule we talked to our son while we out of town and he said it did not rain while we were gone. So we, unfortunately, will either look for another landscaper or return to our former one.

I love this company! I have worked with other landscaping companies and when the trees did not make the OTHER companies did not stand behind their work. Signuture is DIFFERENT! Very promt in coming and doing and estimate. In estimate you can pick what you want based on your budget. Then when they say they are coming they do. Tom is wonderful he gets customer servise and he is very fair. We had an issue in which the summer heat caused some of the trees to not make it. Tom replaced them in the fall. He also has checked up on the landscaping to see how things are going. Overall I have been very thankful for all his help in meeting our landscaping needs!

It was clear the man who came out was extremely knowledgable. And I was made aware of the charge when I called to schedule the appointment. Still, I felt that was excessive for them to charge that amount to only spend a half an hour discussing my project. I felt kind of dumb writing that check. Oh well...

Excellent as landscapers. They are a little backed up, but when they come out they get the job done quick. The owner is there to make sure the work was done properly. There is no payment until the work is done and they go the extra mile for you. His prices are right there with everyone elses.
