Auto Service
The service and installation went well. He was fit us in to his (supposed) busy schedule. I did see a couple customers come and go, but no one seemed hurried. He was really trying to get us to rent a car and leave all day. Something about it bothered me. Maybe his insistence.
He quoted us an hourly rate of $105. The work took exactly three hours.
When he wrote the bill, he billed us for 3.75 hours. When I questioned the time, he stammered and created excuses. He did not expect us to question it. He still made us pay for the 3.75 hours, essentially stealing $75 from us.
I imagine the job would have taken all day if we had driven away.
Update: They also broke the gas gauge.
