After the job was completed and we arrived home from work (after the crew had already left) , we noted a couple small finishing details that didn't exactly meet our expectations. I sent Kent an email detailing these "issues" at 6pm that night and by 9am that next day I had missed 2 calls from him on my cell. After calling him back, Kent said he would take care of whatever we felt was necessary (at no additional cost) sight unseen. That very afternoon his crew came out to rectify these details without complaint and up to our precise standards. Through my work, I deal with various contractors on a near daily basis, and Kent's customer service and responsiveness to our concerns rate with the absolute best of them. The quality of the floors, the professionalism of the staff, the fair price, and the stellar customer service have made us life long customers of Ozark Oak Flooring Inc.
Addendum 2014: tried to contact Ozark Oak Flooring to install and refinish existing hardwood flooring throughout our new home but was never able to speak with anyone. Tried multiple emails and phone calls over a couple weeks and never received the courtesy of a return call. Pretty disappointed as I was very pleased with them in 2012.

The job went exactly as described. I got three bids, and selected this firm because they said we could walk on the floors each evening. The other two firms, both with competitive prices, said we would have to stay off the floors after the staining (for one company) and after the finishes (the other company). Being able to get upstairs to our bedrooms and bathrooms made a huge difference.
I was particularly pleased with the repair work along two walls where our old 1930's house had subsided in some past decade, pulling the two exterior walls away from the floor. This work exceeded my expectations.
The two-man crew who came were polite and tidy, and apologetic for being a little late to arrive the first day because the freeway was closed due to a car catching fire.

Most importantly, the completed work is beautiful. We were able to choose exactly the color stain we wanted and the finished look is stunning. His team completed the project in exactly the stated time (5 days for appx. 1500 sq ft). I recommend them highly.
