The bid was good and they communicated well to outline the project.  Workers showed up as scheduled and did excellent work.  I would use them again.

I accepted their bid after another company quoted 1 1/2 times that amount.  They said they would be out in 2 weeks, but it wound up being more like 3 weeks.  I was a little worried, because it was October and we needed to get our sprinkler system shut down, but I didn't want to do it until the sod was in for a while.  If they had come on time, I would have give them all A's.  Anyway, they came when they told me they would, removed the wildflowers and a few small evergreen bushes and replaced it with sod.  It took the entire day, but it looked great when they were finished.  I watered it well for 10 days and then had to shut down the sprinkler system.  We have a wide area that they did and I am very pleased.  It is now mid-December and still looks healthy.  I feel like we got a good job at an excellent price.  No complaints. 

It's been a while since we've had Wells perform this yard maintenance and so we are roughly estimating the date.  However, everything went very well.  All was removed and the yard looked trim and neat.

Wells Landscaping and two other landscape contractors were referred to me by a friend. I contacted all three providers however Ryan was the only one of the three to timely return with a formal proposal and estimate for our extensive landscaping job. Wells crew laid out beds that were lined with stone in the front and rear yard. They transplanted existing landscape to new locations and installed new plantings. Due to elevation of our rear yard, Wells dug and installed a french drain across the entire span of our back yard in order to handle water run off from neighboring property. They also installed downspout diverters in order to further remove rain from gutters further from our foundation. Lastly they installed a large retaining / seating wall and approximately 150 sq feet of paver stone patio to further expand our existing rear patio.
Wells communicated well with us in estimate, lead up, construction, and post construction phases. Excessive rain in June and July caused delays but this can not be attributed to Wells, and Ryan was diligent in keeping us informed and even worked a couple of Saturdays in order to try to keep on schedule.
The final invoice was very close to the estimate, and given some change orders during the process we were pleased with the final bill.

Ryan came out to the house and discussed what I would like to have done and also what plants would work well in the area. We live on a very wooded lot and he suggested removing two diseased trees which would allow more sunlight on the area. He was very attentive tot the fact that I have deer invasions regularly and also worked with me to use the type of planting that I liked.

The communication was great and they did a wonderful job. Due to to rough winter a few of the plantings didn't make it but they were guaranteed and they were replaced this spring. I have since hired this company to do the leaf clean-up and mulch all the landscaped area.

I am very happy with Ryan and his company and will not only continue to use them in the future but will recommend them to friends.

Smoothly. Prompt, courteous, excellent work. Wells will not come back and say that the job actually costs more after he gets done. If anyhting unexpected pops up during the work, it is settled immediately and fairly.

We've used Ryan and his crew for many years to provide lawn mowing service. When we decided to change our front landscape we asked 4 different landscapers to provide bids. Ryan had the most original proposal addressing our specific requests for something that would look clean and would be easy to maintain while still being somehat colorful. He was always responsive to our questions. Based on our experience it is very unusual to have landscapers in the Chesterfield area respond to a query in a timely fashion or without having to send several e-mails. Ryan always responded (not necessarily the same day, but he always got back to us). He kept us informed of any changes to the plan and when they came out to do the work they were prompt and professional. They did a beauttiful job and we are very pleased with the appearance of our landscape. We would certainly use again.

Work was done while I was out of town but done well.

We were very pleased with the job. He was really responsive to my phone calls and I could get a hold of him right away. He was helpful in showing us ideas to make the project look nicer. He has a very nice crew.

Lawrence, from Wells Landscaping and Lawn Care, courteously and promptly returned our phone request for an estimate. He then returned a written estimate by mail within a few days. The price quoted was not cheap but reasonable though on the high side of reasonable in our opinion. However, they had a good rating on Angie's List. So, today Lawrence and four other young men came to our home and spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 to 4 hours (approximately) cutting away dead brush, removing several small trees and in general cleaning out all the overgrowth on two long sides of our property. They hauled everything away. It looks terrific! They did a really EXCELLENT JOB. I will be recommending these folks to our friends and we will be using them again, as needed.

We have a large property with sticks and debris, which they were able to clean up very well. Since it has been wet laity, it took them a little longer than usual to put the mulch in. Overall, they did a great job and everything looks very good.

We really liked Ryan's solution to the drainage problem (one that hadn't occurred to us). The work was completed in a timely manner, the crew of four guys (I think) arriving around 8:00 AM and finishing around 6:00 PM. This project was a lot of work, especially having to dig a fairly deep trench down to the woods. After the drainage pipes were placed, the trench was refilled and covered with lawn. The barren spot where the tree once stood was covered with sod. My sizable flower beds had been a mess. The guys cleaned all the leafy debris from under and around bushes, edged perfect circles around the trees, and amply covered the beds with double-ground mulch. Our yard has never looked better!

Everything I've ever had done as been done to my complete satisfaction.

I am very particular and they work to please, they are very hard working and do excellent work. I will continue to use them.
