Still waiting for them to fix quality issues. Was a couple of weeks late to get started, did a good job with clean up. Had them return to talk about quality issues 2 months ago, said they would fix. Have left several messages to finish, but no return call.
Response from Midwest Roofing
"We completed the roof and a few weeks later the homeowners tree trimmer guy came out and fell a tree into the side of the home, crushing a 40' run of gutter and messing up the shingles. The company that messed this up called and asked for a quote to repair these damages. We told them what it would cost and he said we were too high. At this point it is out of our hands."

Called my house insurance company after intense wind storm because I notice a strip of siding in the yard. They recommended Midwest Roofing to us. So, called them up and  they came out the same day. They checked out the roof and set me up for someone to come out to repair the siding. The inspection and estimate of the repair was free. Three days later my siding was repaired and I was a happy camper. All I can say about this company is they are prompt, professional, reasonably priced and they do excellent work. I highly recommend this company.

Midwest Roofing had very skilled employees on the job site providing quality work. They fixed a design error when an addition had been built.  They were very thorough when cleaning up after the  job. If I ever relocate and need roof repair, I will contact Midwest Roofing again. We are very satisfied with the staff, the craftsmanship, and the materials Midwest Roofing provided.

We have a very difficult roof, lot's of angles and a pretty steep pitch.  Midwest Roofing was great in every aspect.  Our crew, headed up by Darrell, was great.  They kept us informed what  and when things would happen each day, cleaned the work area at the end of every day, were respectful in every manner.  There were a few minor mishaps but when you tear off 5,200 sq. ft. of roof you can expect that.  All mishaps were dealt with in a timely manner and immediately fixed.  Even one of the owner's came out to check on the progress and talk it over with us.
They were very careful to be sure that the work area was perfectly cleaned at the end of the project and that we were happy with everything before they left for the final time.
Such a treat to work with a company that puts the customer first and communicates in a timely manner.  They showed up when they said they would, called then they said they would and worked with the insurance company to make the whole thing was as painless as possible.
Midwest Roofing was one of the best decisions we've made so far this year.

It went well from start to finish.  The salesrep for the company noticed from the street that I had some shingles that were loose. I was aware of this and was going to try to repair it but he pointed out that there might be more storm damage so he inspected the roof.  He recommended that I contact my insurance which I did.  The adjuster agreed that the roof was damaged and should be replaced.  I contacted the salesrep who promptly processed the paper work and scheduled the work.  The crew arrived when they said they would.  They were on site by 6:00 AM and even worked through a rain shower to finish.  One crew member stayed on the ground constantly cleaning the area.  The landscaping was not damaged and after they had left you could not tell they had been there except there was a new roof.

Midwest representative (Marcus Eckstrom) inspected my roof and found extensive hail damage. I contacted my insurance company who immediately sent an adjuster to my home. Mr. Eckstrom showed the damage to the adjuster. The adjuster submitted a report and within a couple of days my insurance company approved the claim. Midwest wasn't able to begin work for about a week because of snow in the interim. As soon as the snow melted there was a crew at my home. They tore off the old roof and replaced it with lifetime shingles in a day and a half. They did a total cleanup before they left. They even removed leaves that had accumulated on the ground around the perimeter of the house.

We received and estimate and sent in a deposit of $200. Work began around 8am on the morning it was scheduled, everything was completed and the crew left the site around 2pm that afternoon. The entire crew was on the roof, music on and scraping off tiles before I left to take my daughter to school that morning. Just before we left for school, a semi-sized truck from a lumber company pulled down into our drive to deliver the new shingles. Our drive is steep, does not offer much turn around space and I have a great deal of landscaping on all sides. In other words, it's nearly impossible to maneuver a truck this size in. I walked out of the house to find the truck wedged between my garden pond and a large mimosa tree on the other side of the drainage trench for our driveway. The roofing guys were trying to guide him  to get straightened out in the drive; so he was pulling forward, then backing up repeatedly- trying to get the truck into position. Each time he backed up, he ran into my mimosa, tearing it up and splintering one of the main branches. It had rained the day before, so the wheels of the truck also dug deep trenches in the edge of the drive and filled the drainage ditch with mud. We were told that the damage would be cleaned up, it never was. A man from RP lumber did come out an hour or so after the job was finished and offered to try and smooth the ridges out with a rake and shovel. He apologized for the mess, but also was quick to point out that the roofing trucks and trailer also left ridges and track marks all over the yard and ditch. I thanked him for stopping by and told him I'd fix it myself. (I'd had quite enough of people and my yard at this point) I cut the splintered branch from the tree and hope it will recover.
The new roof looks wonderful. In fact, it looks SO good, now I need to get rid of our vinyl siding and paint so it doesn't seem out of place on this worn modular. The irritating skylight is gone. They were able to reinstall our satellite dish with a minimum of fuss. All the mess was cleaned up afterward, I only found two staples and those were in the doorways of the front and patio doors. They walked around with leaf blowers and blew all the asphalt bits off the porches and walkways. They replaced all the flashing and fixed the shingles over the bay window, which apparently had been installed improperly to begin with. The turtle vents wound up being replaced with new turtle vents rather than the ridge cap being installed. My husband spoke with Josiah about this, he was told that for some reason, this didn't get noted on the work order. By the time I noticed them and pointed it out, it was around 12 noon, so the workers would have had to tear off a large portion of completed work to change it. Josiah assured us that these vents are MUCH better than what was up there and that they WILL NOT leak. I hope he's right! They also forgot to put the storage building on the work order and I didn't think to remind them.
My major complaint/disappointment was the yard. The driveway was the most obvious, but rocks were also knocked out of my landscaping and left to lay in the yard, the cover for our streetlight wound up getting thrown away and a rose bush was broken and trampled. I was a bit annoyed with the blame-placing over the roofing company versus the lumber company. I didn't really care whose fault it was, I just wanted it fixed.
The company's website promises that they return to the site on several occasions to double check workmanship and do an inspection. We haven't been through this part yet, since the work was only completed yesterday.
Overall, I'd give them a great rating if I were judging on the roof quality and workmanship alone. Maybe a bit more attention to detail (like how the area surrounding the house is treated) and a bit more communication between the crew and the management (so things like the ridgecap vs vents aren't missed) would help them to improve their customer relations. I'd recommend them to others, just make sure you really go over the details first and discuss them again with the crew when they show up on site.
