Flower arrangement arrived in complete disarray. (Photo 1) Stems were cut too short and even with the vase filled with water to the brim were still sitting outside the water level. (Photo 2) Flowers edges were scarred, crispy and brown. (Photo 3) Arrangement did not equal the photo of what was ordered.. (Photo 4 - Photo is directly off the Telaflora website. Photo is of the standard arrangement....not the deluxe or premium) I notified Telaflora and they submitted a complaint with the florist. The florist owner called me. He had a level of disbelief and explained that he put more flowers in the arrangement than he should have for what we paid. He said that he did the arrangement himself and he had over 20 years of experience. I told him I had photos and would be happy to email them to him. He agreed. I emailed them to him and immediately received this response: It appears as though the arrangement has fallen out of the vase due to the balloon catching the flowers and pulling them out sometime after it was delivered. As for the roses, the petals that appear to be brown are actually called guard petals; they are how the flowers grow naturally and the roses that were in the arrangement were very fresh. A new arrangement and balloon will be delivered first thing in the morning and we will be picking up the previous arrangement and balloon. Thank you My response: No. I'm sorry your assessment is incorrect. I actually have never seen roses sent on the first day of delivery in this shape. I was home when this arrangement arrived and this is how it walked in the front door. Quite possibly there weren't enough flowers to hold the balloon but someone should have known that would be a problem and made concession for that issue. As I tried to state on the phone, possibly your delivery girl had a problem with the arrangement after it left your hands. I'm not a complainer by nature and I was seriously shocked to see flowers arrive in this condition which is why I notified Telaflora since you are their distributor in this area. This is in no way similar in content to the photo on the website which anyone who ordered flowers from them would expect to be sent. The florist replaced the delivery promptly the next morning. The flowers were in better condition and actually had enough of a stem to be submerged in water but the content was still half of what was ordered. (Photo 5)
