Bolinger Heating & Air Conditioning

Description of Work: I hired Jim Bolinger in October 2009. I had a building under construction at the time and the bid for the heat and air job was 15,800. The work was to be done in stages as the building was built starting with heat. He brought out and installed 2 of 3 furnaces for 5000. and was paid at that time. He said he could be back the next week with the third furnace but then asked for an advance of 2500. to pay for the third furnace. I advanced him the 2500. and he was gone. In December I called him from a phone number other than my own and he finally answered the phone. He said he had my furnace and he would drop it off at my new building the next morning but it would be a week before he could get over here to install it. He didn't show up with it and wouldn't answer my calls again. On Feb. 10th. 2010 I drove 25 miles to the town where he lives. I had called him about 20 times a day for three days and about 20 that morning. I found his house, knocked on the door, his wife answered. I asked her to call him for me, she brought out a cordless phone and dialed 778-5854, the same number I had just tried 20 times but now he picks up about the second ring. He made excuses of a lost cell phone, said he just now got my messages and was going to bring my furnace to me the next morning, he would do it now but he was out of town and my furnace was in the back of his truck right now as we speek. I would see him in the morning but it would be about a month before he would have time to install it unless I wanted his guys to work on Saturdays to get it done. I told him Saturdays , Sundays I didn't care, I need it done. That was Feb. 10th. The next time I heard from him was in March, he called wanting another advance. I told him to just finish the job and I'll pay him in full, no more advances. Would not answer my calls again. Now April 5th. 2010 I drove over to his house again, his wife is pulling out of the driveway. I ask her if Jim is here. She said he's in the bathroom. She leaves as I knock on the door at7:50 AM. I knock, I call, I set in my truck in his driveway for two hours. Seems no one is home. He has a chevy truck parked close to the house and I drive a chevy truck so I pulled up close to his truck and set of my trucks allarm and watched the windows. He looked out the blinds then but still wouldn't answer the door. I found out where his wife worked , called her and told her I was still setting in her driveway and all I wanted was the furnace I paid for or my 2500 dollars back, would she please call him and let him know. About 20 min.s later, two guys in a Bolinger heat and air truck drove up, went into his garage and carried out a furnace and put it in the back of my truck. Don't give this guy and advance payment or don't use him at all.
