Russell Brothers Heating Cooling & Refrigeration

I can't say enough good about Russel Brothers Heating Cooling & Refrigeration Inc. As will always happen, our central heating/cooling system went south in the heat of the summer ( 90+ degrees ). I haven't had to deal with anyone in this industry for years, so had to start searching for someone to install a new system. I scoured yellowpages, google, etc for local businesses, and came up with a list of 6 companies that dealt with different equipment, and started calling. Of the 6 companies, 2 could not even get out in a timely manner to give me a bid. I had the remaining 4 out that day to provide bids. All 4 company representatives that came out that day were very professional, and gave good estimates, however Brian Russel truly impressed me. He was not a salesman, he was the real deal, a heating and cooling veteran that has worked in this field for years. He didn't just pull out pamphlets to show me what he sold, or try to undercut the other bids I had with comprimising equipment. He actually evaluated my home, LISTENED to me, answered my questions, and educated me on the equipment and technologies available. He worked up a bid for what I needed, not what would get him the job. Brian didn't come in as the lowest bid, however he did come in with a VERY fair bid for the equipment that I needed. Brian also worked us in to his busy schedule to get the system installed the NEXT DAY since we were 100% out. His crew and himself showed and had the new sytem installed and running within 12 hours of stepping into my home. It's now been about 1 month, and the system has functioned flawlessly. My prior system never could properly cool my home, but this system is running perfect. My home is very comfortable, and is cooling to what I set my thermostat to. It is definitely the "right" system for my home. If you're looking for a company to give you what you "need" with no high pressure sales tactics, and excellent equipment, give Russel Brothers a call, I think you'll be pleased.

Work was done on time, on budget and there were no surprises. Came back for follow service any time we called them. Prompt and trustworthy.

The owner Brian came out on a Friday to take measurements and do sizing calculations and bid the job. The price was fair for the system he helped my choose. He did not try to sell me more than what I needed for my home and budget which was a welcome surprise in this day and age. The work was finished when promised and the installer Jason did a wonderful job. I would recommend them for service to family and friends.

When I phoned the office the first time, the office person was very nice, courteous and acted like she wanted our business. She made an appointment to suit us. The owner, Brian Russell, arrived at the appointed time. He suggested a very good system for a fair price - and, unlike some of his competitors, did not try to sell us the highest price system - he listened to what I wanted. The work was good and as promised. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. There are only 2 complaints - he could have protected the floor better from the plaster dust, and they left thier boxes of trash in the attic.
