Trueson Exteriors was a wonderful choice for us; they made the whole experience stress-free. Barry Rowe, owner, was always easy to contact throughout the process and was happy to answer all of my questions, no matter how dumb. (and some were pretty dumb) Barry has confidence in his employees and it shows; Brian and the crew followed through on every detail of the plan and were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. All 21 windows were replaced in two days I believe then wrapping the exterior and final touches took another 3 days. I couldn't believe they could do the work in the wintertime without freezing us out but they did, no loss of house heat which was extremely nice. We were very pleased with Barry's competitive price and will call him again, actually, we already have....

The True Son staff were all very responsive and helpful. They were the only company I called that sent me pictures of the damage with the written estimate. I gave them a "B" on cost because their estimate was about $1,000 higher than the insurance estimate. However, I was so impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism, that I chose them despite the higher estimate. Also, they sent me links to the shingle company website, and I was impressed with the quality of the materials they were using.
Because the roof was leaking, they put a tarp over the damaged area immediately after I signed the contract. Also, they moved my job to the front of the queue because we had an active leak. I think they did the work within 2 weeks of doing the estimate (they originally estimated a 4 week wait).
They finished the job as promised and on time. I have not been back to Missouri since the new roof was installed, but they sent me pictures of the house with the new roof. From the pictures, it looks great. My relatives report that it seems to be good. It comes with a very good warranty that they mailed to me.
If we experience any problems, I will update this post.

Below was my original rating which I am amending. I was contacted by the provider about my review and we figured out where the miss communication happened. The provider immediately came out and made the necessary corrections. I am very pleased with his service and am very pleased he made the effort to fix the problem even after well over a year. I would definitely use him again. The Angie list and rating system really works and gives the customer and service provider a way to be fair too both parties.
Well the initial contact was good and the quote was good as well. The owner who did the quote was really busy and did not come with his crew to oversee the work. The crew fixed the place that had to be repaired but on the flashing of the car port roof they had to come back because they did the wrong side. That led me to believe did the original bid/estimates cover the real problem. The down spout on car port was to be moved to stop water from pooling behind the house and they failed to do that on both visits. I left a couple of messages and never heard back. I rated them the way I did because we have had no more leaks on roof so that mission was accomplished.
