Perfectly. Reupholstered our sofa several times over 30 years. Great work.

Terwelp did an excellent job. They were very professional and a pleasure to work with. They job was done in a very timely manner. The upholstery was completed beautifully within 2 weeks of our selecting the fabric. They saved us money by letting us know we did not need to replace the cushions, only the support webbing. They informed us up front that they do not do wood work but that they could take the job to Finishing Touch in Columbia, MO. Finishing Touch did a superior job of repairing our chair without having all of the original pieces. We paid them separately for this work.

The upholstery shop is REALLY off the beaten path in suburbs of Columbia Missouri. After a friendly greeting at the door, Mr. Terwelp examined my chair and told me what his fee would be and the remaining cost would depend upon my selection of fabric. He then produced several books of fabric samples and said if I could pick a few that I like he would see to it that the manufacturer sent samples directly to my home. I did, and they did. I had to send all samples back to the manufacturer and pay the postage on most of them. Considering what I was paying per yard I thought that was rather chintzy.

Mr. Tersely said it would be three to four weeks before it as finished. And he was right on the money.

The workmanship on the chair was excellent and it was a difficult piece to work with. Any future upholstery work I require will be done by Terwelp Upholstery

Great! He had to completely make new seat and back and the work is super! Love it. Location is a little hard to find, but worth the drive.

I first brought in a chair that I wanted recovered, which will be done
by Terwelp Upholstery and when I found out they also recover work out
benches I was all for bring in one of the benches from the YMCA that
needed to be recovered. They completed it within the week. They were
right on with the price and the bench looks great. They recovered the
vinyl and the padding which needing replacing badly. The bench looks
great and the other members can't believe it is the same bench. A+++ for
Terwelp Upholstery. Ralph was very helpful and friendly. Talk about excellent customer service

I bought furniture a long time ago and it was very very sturdy. Some things he's recovered, he makes it like a new piece of furniture. He rebuilds all parts of it and he can even change the style if you want. It is just masterful work, otherwise I wouldn't be using him all these years over and over. He is booked up quite a bit because he is so good. He is not cheap because he is that good and it is worth it. He has all sorts of material, thousands of pages worth. I like very good material, so my couch and chair together will be $3,000. His labor isn't out of line, I just like expensive material. It is worth it in the long run.
