Maxcare Carpet Cleaning & Repair

I entered into TL;DR territory writing this, so in short: do yourself a favor and call MaxCare. I'm so glad my basement filled with sewage. I'm not kidding, and you probably think that's weird, but let me explain... My story begins on what should have been a carefree and relaxing weekend. My husband was out of town and I was getting ready to hunker down and binge on The Voice. Cue epically pootastic sewer backup. After the plumber took care of the blocked pipes, I called MaxCare to see about cleaning up the poopocalypse in my basement. Rob was there within the hour and went straight to work sanitizing the hard surfaces and carting away the affected carpet. Never in my life have I met a man so passionate about carpet cleaning than Rob. I started calling him for my home needs after he did great cleaning at a couple of my offices in town. I've had some emergencies in the past and he always responds super fast (very important when you have a surprise toilet overflow at a business!). The following week I met my new hero, Stephanie. Stephanie oversaw everything to come after the initial disaster. We had a LOT of things to deal with: refinishing wood paneling, replacing baseboards & flooring, re-painting walls (water travels y'all!), and the unfortunate discovery of asbestos. Yeah, I said asbestos. It was a real clusterfluff. Stephanie worked tirelessly day after day to make sure the job was done right with as little impact to our daily lives as possible. She coordinated all the subcontractors and really went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of the whole way through. Stephanie also has this magic ability to make you feel like you're her only client. Anytime I had a question or concern, she responded quickly with answers, sometimes to questions I didn't even realize I had. She was also on the same plane as me as far as design went--anytime there was a question about where to put something, what color something should be, how to cover something, Stephanie's instincts were always in line with my own. Despite the unfortunate circumstance that began this whole ordeal, I am glad it happened for a few reasons. 1) our gross old Berber carpet is gone forever, 2) our new floors are beautiful, and 3) now I know Stephanie, the gal that can do anything! She saved my house and my sanity, and I would trust her with any job. I am eternally grateful!

I can't say enough good things about this company. They are always so quick to respond, and go above and beyond with their service. They always do more than expected, whether it is treating the laminate like the last time I used them, or educating staff on how to properly spot clean the carpets in between cleanings. They are professional, responsive, and all around good people. I plan on using them for my personal residence in the future.

He picked up my carpet that was damaged due to flooding and cleaned it really well. He did a great job, it looked better than when I first bought it. It looks better, feels better, and he even tested it to make sure there would be no molding. He was extremely thorough, he gave me a 15.00 bottle of spot cleaner and told me how to clean spots. He did a great job. I recommend him to everyone. he knows what he is talking about, he uses natural products and doesnt use alot of chemically made products. He has gone above and beyond with his service. He even told me he would walk me through how to clean the carpet if I ever got any stains, and I was extremely impressed.

I have a wool area rug about 8X11. It is nine years old. I had it cleaned by an "oriental rug specialist" several years. As far as I could tell, that guy never even touched it. This past summer I called Maxcare on the recommendation of the people at Dave Griggs, where I bought the rug.
The VERY nice man picked it up and delivered it back right on schedule. They did a BEAUTIFUL job. The rug looks brand new. I couldn't have been more pleased and most certainly recommend them.

Overall. Good experience. We have used their service twice and good results.

Called Maxcare to see if they could clean a 100% Wool rug. He asked me several questions about the rug type, age and if I had tried any other cleaning products. These types of questions helped me to decide to go with them. My main concern besides the pet urine was the potential damage cleaning a Wool rug improperly would do to pattern/design and softness that I has read about online. I agreed to have him clean the rug. He promptly picked up the rug, cleaned and returned within a day. Plastic was laid out and the rug was brushed and all of the tassels straightened with super fan blowing over it. On first sight the rug looked great, felt soft and was slightly damp. So I asked why the fan and received a very educated answer about wool fiber, moisture retention and oriental rug care which I felt the need to google after he left. After more online research about oriental rug care I found all of the things that he said to be true. When he came and picked up the fan he asked if I had any questions/concerns and inspected the rug himself. This suprised me because I was not expecting this kind of follow up. I feel as if I need to share this great experience because they aren't to many services meet and excede my expectations. They really did a fantastic job! This experience for me was outstanding from start to finish.

He was very thorough and very accommodating. We had more to do than he anticipated but he stayed with it and got it done for us.
