1. It seemed to be okay although they were not careful as promised with my bushes and plantings and for a year I was picking up shingle pieces around the place. NOW I am replacing the roof in advance of solar electric installation and discover leaks around flashing AND that they did not remove the original layer of shingles from the half of the roof that I couldn't see!! I paid to have it removed! 2. I had to hire someone to re-do her paint job it was so bad. Told Jerry Jones and he didn't care a bit. 3. My parents sold the house 5 years later and inspection showed (well documented) flashings weren't done right and the roof was not nailed with long enough nails and thus was leaking. New owner required that the roof be replaced. Got another opinion that agreed that the roof was unsound. Contacted Jerry Jones who said the documentation was wrong and nothing was wrong and he had done everything right. And besides, his grandson had taken over the business. Contacted the grandson who refused to take any responsibility.

My experience with Mr. Jones was very positive. He came as soon as he could and he not only replaced the ridge caps he replaced the rubber boots at the base of the vent pipes, preventing them from leaking. I would certainly recommend Mr. Jones to take carte of my roofing needs.

Jerry was recommended to me by a friend and he was one of three bids I got for the job. Of the three, he came across as the most professional by far and he seemed like someone I would be comfortable with working around my house. Also, his bid was extremely competitive. I know a neighbor three doors down had a comparable roof put on his comparable house for about $1500 more than mine.

Jerry and his team arrived promptly at 7 a.m. as promised He called at 6:45 a.m. to remind me that they were coming and to make sure my car was out of the garage so they could place a dumpster in the driveway.

This may not mean much to you, but everyone on his team seemed like "nice guys"--no smoking, no cussing, they even kept their shirts on. Amazing considering most of the roofers I'd seen in the area.

They were also hard workers. The job was done fast and professionally. They laid plastic all around the house and made sure all debris went into the dumpster.

Jerry is a very careful with details and supervised everything to make sure it was done right. He had to leave before the dumpster was hauled away, but called later in the afternoon to make sure it had been taken care of and to make sure I was pleased with the work they had done.

I strongly recommend him.
