Things went very well.  They gave us a pretty good idea of how the process would go.  They started when (the day) they said they would.  The job took slightly less time than they said it would - which was great.  They left the work site - our upstairs - clean at the end of each day.
We've had the floors in for over a year now.  They are nice and tight.  No squeeks or creeks when we walk on them.  The tile work looks great.
We asked Jason to have something redone when they were here working in Feb. 2012 - one tile on the floor stuck up a fraction of an inch, and we were worried that we might trip over it.  He saw that his worker redid the work, because he wanted us to be 100% happy with the work.

They did a very good job.  There were a few delays but those were due to the problems they ran into. When they ran into problems they explained what was going on and how much the cost was going to be. They quality of the work was very nice. We were very happy with how it looked in the end. They went with most of my original design.

Despite the difficulties inherent in picking up in the middle of a project, they did a good job, showed up, worked hard, were willing to explain things, etc.  I had no problems with them at all and would use them again.

The company that he hired to do the concrete work came out and didn't want to have to remove the front porch. They ended up pouring over my existing porch raising the height of the porch by 4 inches. The new concrete overlaid porch should of been 27 x 8.5 feet. The porch is only 27 x 8', and the 8.5 x 5.5 step down they turned into a ramp. In wrapping the front post with the aluminum their employee did not do it the way he was instructed to do it by the owner of the company. There were sharp metal edges on all the posts that were exposed. On one area in the porch he cut the aluminum to short and when I asked about should you replace that I was told all don't worry I'll cover it with vinyl caulk.

When they needed to put the soffit on the front of the house, they didn't have a 12 foot ladder to reach the top of the porch. They had to borrow mine.

When I asked about the post bases that were to be installed, he knew nothing about them. Their employee cut out the rotting wood at the base of the garage opening and replaced it with untreated wood placing it directly on the concrete. When I asked shouldn't it be treated wood, I was told don't worry I'll make it watertight I'll use some roofing shingle adhesive.

When they put one of the posts in up against the house they had to remove a porch light and they were supposed to move it to the left of the post. When it came time to do that they said they couldn't do it they were not licensed as  electrician's.

They were supposed to install eight downspouts but only installed six, and did not reduce the price.

They poured the front porch with concrete and made it 13 1/2 ft.² smaller than it was supposed to be and didn't reduce the price.

On the final day they were supposed to be done, at 4:30 in the evening their employee  applied the first coat of mud on the drywall to fix the cracks. They had been here far five days, he applied a second coat at 5:30 and a third coat at about seven o'clock in the evening.

At 8:30 that evening he said the plaster wasn't drying as it should and he would leave me a Sanding pad so I could finish it.

After he left I talked to the owner the company Cole, I told him all the complaints I had about the quality of the work that had been done. He then told me that his employee had just called him, and told him he just  left the job. Cole said,  if he had been there that late there had to be something wrong.

The following Monday the owner came to fix the work that had previously been done, re-doing the siding that they had installed, removing bent nails and nails that were showing, re-wrapped the front porch posts, reworked the aluminum soffit, landscaping the front of the porch, using vinyl caulk to cover the gaps in the aluminum  and sanding down the plaster on the cracks inside at the bay window. After sanding for quite a while he knew the plaster had been put on way to thick and not tapered at the edges. He said I not coming back i"ll take $125.00 off the bill and you can do it. All he had was a finishing pad to do the work with.

Cole told me he fired the employee he left to do the work on my house, that it was his last chance, as he messed up the prior job he was on also.

The owner of the company seemed more interested in being paid, than the quality of the work they do. When given the bill I deducted for the down spouts that were not in stalled and the concrete work that was not done.

He would not listen to what I was trying to explain to him, as to why I felt I should not have to pay for work not done. All he could do was yell and  threaten me that he would put a construction lean on our house.

The vinyl caulk they applied to cover up the poor quality of their work is already breaking loose from the aluminum and showing gaps between the metal.

This company did not do what they agreed to do, they falsely represented them selves as professionals and did poor quality work. Totally unprofessional.
