He stole $25,000.00 from us and declared bankruptcy. He withheld the payroll taxes but then did not send them off to the IRS.  He intercepted the notices from the IRS too. He also have some fake testimonial online. I would not use the service again.

I sat there for an hour watching him fill out the forms I arrived with. Name, address, etc. There were still several forms to be filled out and I asked if they consisted of the same generic information. He said they were all pretty much the same, so I said I would be able to finish them and send them to the government agencies. He looked at the clock and said he charged $1/minute, so I owed him $60. I really resent the waste of money, especially when I was just starting out in business. If he had been more professional or charged me fairly, I would have used him as the CPA for the business.

James Berry was stripped of his CPA certification shortly after and I could see why: Over the course of about two years he stole over $20,000 from us and did not forward our and our employees' tax payments to the IRS or the state tax authorities. As a result, we have liens on our home and are paying the taxes AGAIN to the IRS. Berry stopped taking our calls and we referred the case to the police and the prosecutor's office. Use this guy at your own risk.
