Hy-Vee, Inc

I paid them a $100 fee to set up, serve, and clean up. Then there was a special added thing that they had to watch. When you give them special instructions, they follow them to the T. What I did with Hy-Vee, we had to finish up pictures after the ceremony. I know that people are going to be getting hungry but we aren't going to be eating for another hour, hour and a half. So, when the people were going into the reception hall Hy-Vee served them fruits and vegetables. I had fruit, I had vegetables, I had berries and I had shrimp so they could eat and snack on that. They could get coffee, they could get punch while they were waiting while we finished up pictures.
I am allergic to berries. I go into anaphylactic. Even though I can't eat them, doesn't mean that other people can't eat them. I expressed this to Hy-Vee very carefully and told them that if I get the juice off of a strawberry, I will be going to the hospital. So when they set up, they actually brought extra tongs and stuff and when she was serving, she actually stood there by the berries and watched the people and make sure they didn't pick strawberries or blackberries up with tongs and then go to get like cantaloupe or watermelon. Because of the cross contamination. She did catch somebody and immediately within seconds she got the problem fixed. Then when they prepared the food for the wedding, they done everything that I could eat first and then they done the berries last just in case something in the clean up didn't go right.
