Gaines Moving & Delivery

Lousy in every respect!

What a horrific experience! Upon them delivering my belongings to my new home I was very disappointed to find so, so many things broken or damaged. Much of my furniture is antique and / or family heirlooms which are unable to be repaired or replaced. After trying to contact owner Rodney Gaines several times, I finally received a call from his "moving manager", Marvis. Marvis finally agreed to come look at the items. Marvis scheduled an appointment at 12 p.m. on a Sunday to look at all of the damaged items. At 1:30pm I attempted to reach Marvis to inquire about his no-show as I had set my day aside to meet with him. Finally, just after 10:00 p.m. that evening Marvis called to inform me that he didn't show up to the appointment because he hadn't had a day off in quite some time and just wanted to go fishing! Although he did show up three evenings later, it's been over a month sand still nothing has been resolved. I have asked for assistance from them with this matter, including trying to reach the owner Rodney Gaines and he refuses to return my calls. My last call to this company was last June 23rd and finally today, June 29th Marvis returned my call, yet know resolution. They continue to push a furniture repair person of their choice, however, I am not confident that this will be an acceptable solution / provider to repair the quality of furniture that I own. Do yourself a favor and find another company to move your belongings. It'll be well worth your money and your stress level!

I have used Gaines Moving 3 times since I moved to Missouri and they  are going to move me again on 6/3/2015.  I highly  recommend them.....I have lived all over the USA, N.Y., N.J., Calif., Chicago, and Atlanta and out of all of my moves I find them to be THE BEST !!!!  
For anyone that is moving, CALL GAINES  they will make you move less stressful !  THANKS GUYS ;-)

They are great. They are a very good moving company to deal with and they are reasonable.

I would rate them pretty highly. They made sure they could accommodate us. They're good to work with. The staff was very friendly and pleasant.

They were recommended to me by a girl I used to work with. I really like them. They are absolutely the nicest people I have ever dealt with. They were punctual and polite. I would absolutely use them again.
