"Hi Mr. [Member Name Removed], When we had come to inspect the recent leak awhile back we did find the existing power vent was the reason for this leak. This material was not replaced at your request and we do believe that this is the reason for your current leak. The pipe boot flashing's were replaced and after the inspection of your attic, we did confirm this. We certainly want to be of assistance to help you resolve this issue but we do have to insist that the source of the leak is coming from the original vent that was not replaced at your discretion."

We then contacted our insurance company and filed a claim (1st one in 20+ years). Joe helped us basically through the entire process. It was much easier than he had even told us.
The workers came in about two weeks and it didn't take them long to remove the old roof and put on our new one. The guys were polite and tried there best to protect the house and our landscaping. Although everything went well, we did have an issue with one of my wife's rose bushes being crushed as well as a section of gutter being loosened from the fascia. The gutter issue was repaired by the workers before they left and the foreman said he would talk to the owner of the company regarding the rose bush.
I later spoke to the owner and he told me that he would be glad to pay for the bush, but after inspecting it I thought I could save it.
When we received an invoice several days later for the job, one hundred dollars had been deducted from the total for the rose bush even though I told him I thought it could be saved.
Joe then came by to pick up a check and I had him stop by and look at a rental property I own on the opposite side of town. The roof was old and had lost shingles but I thought maybe this would be covered too.
He informed me that although it didn't show signs of hail, it was in relatively bad condition and would need replacement soon. He then gave me a bid on the rental roof and it was very reasonable so I had it replaced too.
I am very satisfied with the job they did for me.
Sales person was Steve. He explained everything in a professional manner and was very accurate.
All in all it was a very good experience and we are happy with the work, scheduling and product. We will definitely use this company in the future and highly recommend them to anyone needing their expertise.
Poor communication between the person who did the initial evaluation of my hail damage and the folks doing the actual work. The workers actually did not speak English, the foreman did, but it was difficult to understand him, he was nice.
The job supervisor was very enthusiastic, kept telling me he just wanted me to be happy. I just preferred to have the job done right.
The replacement shingles were not the color I had requested (again, poor communication) but the color was acceptable. There was a bundle of a different color that was used right in the middle of the roof that had to be replaced. Apparently the roofer did not notice until it was pointed out to him.
I have a very steep roof and the workers on the steep side did not use any safety measures (like ties to keep them from falling). When I pointed that out to the foreman, he showed me that there was a rope over the top of the roofline which was about 15 feet away from the roofer.
When the roof was done I noticed I could see the flashing from the top of the roof, not just the side. I started looking closer and found that the edge of the roofline was cut irregularly and had to call my contact person who had to come look at it after I sent him pics. The roof was fixed at least visually. I asked him to call me to let me know the work had been completed and he did not do so, in fact, he has not responded to me, 4 calls unanswered/not returned so far. At this point I have not paid them and am not planning on doing so until my contact person calls me back.
Gutters were also replaced, but that portion was subcontracted and went smoothly.
