Okay... so my husband and I bought a brand new refrigerator from Columbia Appliance In Columbia MO in January of 2023.. it's been leaking water on our food since the first week and we have been trying to get it fixed/replaced since we bought it... Long story short, Columbia Appliance wouldn't stand by their product and we're still having problems. I will NEVER EVER recommend buying from Columbia Appliance and will personally buy from big box stores from now on ?

The sales staff were helpful & knowledgable. The installers did a fantastac job installing the new applicances, even found an extra piece of stainless steel trim for the oven since the new oven was not as high as the old wall opening. They definitely went above and beyond my expectations including a thorough job of cleaning after the installation.

I called them early in the morning and they squeezed me in that day so that I could do my laundry and pack. He easily could have told me I needed parts, and I wouldn't have known the difference, but he cleaned the brushes and got it running, and told me that I could expect to have to replace the motor down the road. Quick, courteous, and honest! I will definitely use them again!!!

great!! January (one of the managers) gave us enough time to ask questions and offer recommendations. she also called to get our dryer delivered a day early, as we had a storm coming. Delivery staff terrific and on time. Everyone was great. Thanks!

Columbia Appliance was prompt with getting back to me and scheduling a repair person to come assess the problem. The repair man was prompt and called ahead to be sure we could see him. He quickly assessed the problem as one of two things electronically. A timing mechanism, or something else. Can't recall, but he was faced with having to make a judgement call on which part to order. We were assured that if the part he chose didn't fix the washer, then we would not be charged for it and he would go with the second option, and then only charge us for the part that fixed the washer and his time on that part only...AFTER the washer was fixed. And that is exactly how it went. The part he suspected was needing repair was the right pick and he was quickly able to fix our washer for the price he quoted. We were dealt with honestly and in as timely a manner as could be considering they had to order the part. I would definitely do business with Columbia Appliance again in the future.

"We at Columbia Appliance feel terrible that [member name removed] had a bad experience with her/his service call back in 2010. Unfortunately, we show no record of her using COLUMBIA APPLIANCE for her specific need on her refrigerator. There is however another company in the area that was in business for a brief period of time, that had a name similar to ours....... They left town over a year ago. I'll leave it up to our Angie's List members as to why that might be. BUT... We encourage [member name removed] of Columbia MO to give us a try the next time she/he needs a repair on her home appliance. THE STAFF AT THE APPLIANCE REPAIR WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CAME OUT, THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, AND WERE ABLE TO FIX BOTH APPLIANCES IN A LITTLE OVER TWO HOURS. THE MAN DID A GREAT JOB.
