She calculated needed quantities and made helpful selections down to the grout colors.
On the day order was to be placed, she promptly advised of items that would not arrive in time and suggested alternative solutions.  She drew designs for the installers to follow for tile installation.  Sonya even made site visits to my home, which was above and beyond in my past experience with other providers of tile and carpeting.  A+ for a very professional job!

CarpetOne installed flooring throughout my house after a flood that occurred in mid-June. Bathroom and kitchen flooring (vinyl) were done on time and well.  House carpet installation was delayed; when I finally got people to come in, I was told "We're busy getting rooms ready for school." This was in early August; I had been asking for installation since mid-July.  Carpeting began to lump and pull up after about 60-90 days.  I left a message with CarpetOne in response to a follow up call in early November.  After not receiving a reply for several weeks, I called at the end of November.  The woman I spoke to was nice and said they were "busy," but would get back to me.  All I got after that were invoices for the remaining $500 I owed on a $5000 job.  The carpet is terrible quality; a local carpet cleaner commented on it when he was in (yes, I have had to have my carpets cleaned; small stains did not come out).  My carpet is still lumpy and coming up at seams in doorways.  Rather than continue to deal with a company that clearly didn't care about me or my business, I paid my bill. Good riddance.

They were prompt and we were able to get them to come out without having to wait a long time. It was a small job but they did what we asked them to. We are satisfied.

Elaine was wonderful to work with. She showed me so many options and all the differences in quality and price. It was a bit overwhelming, but she never pushed for me to make a decision. She was very patient. She offered her opinion when I needed one, but let me come up with my own choices. As I was trying to coordinate getting painting done and the carpet in so I could move into my house. Elaine pushed to get the carpet shipped to their location and installed to fit my schedule. All went as planned. I'm extremely happy with the products I purchased and the service I recieved.

Before going to Carpet One we checked Angie's List to see what flooring companies had good reputations. Unfortunately, there were no reviews for flooring companies (yet) so we called the Angie's List phone number and we talked to representative about local flooring companies. The Angie's List representative did some investigating and checked with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Carpet One had a really good reputation with the BBB so we decided to check it out. We were so glad that we did because they had the best customer service out of all the places we visited. They gave us a free estimate at time that worked best for our schedules. Then they gave us an itemized estimate for each type of wood we were considering. (They let us take several samples of wood home so we could see what wood looked the best in our house). We asked them so many questions, but they were always so patient and you could tell that they always had our best interest in mind. They even told us how we could save some money on the floors, such as buying the quarter round (the trim) ourselves and then they would install it. So, we decided to buy the quarter round ourselves but we didn't have a car big enough to haul it so the sales associate offered to pick it up for us on her own time!! They really went above and beyond to keep us happy, satisfied customers. The men that installed the floors were on time and very professional. And they did such as great job (see picture)!! We were so happy with our floors and we are going to recommend Carpet One to all of our friends. They might be a little pricier than the big box stores, but their service and professionalism is PRICELESS. If we ever have a problem with our floors (which I seriously doubt) then all we would have to do is pick up the phone and call them. We don't have to call a 1-800 number or talk an operator in another state. I'm so glad we picked Carpet One and I'm sure if you decide to go with them, you will be too.
