From the very beginning I felt it was a mistake. He continued to find "problems" that just "had to be fixed." He was full of good excuses and was quite the smooth talker when confronted. He took advantage of a seriously bad personal situation that I had in order to further his own benefit. I was divorcing my carpenter husband of 20 years so most of the other carpenters in town would not work with me. (Yes, it is a very small town.)
