The product they installed, Stratos foundation piers, seems to be a quality product and they seemed to know their stuff when it comes to proper installation, and their prices were within what I understand to be industry standards. And the piers appear to have corrected the problems I was experiencing with regard to my crawlspace foundation separating and settling at different rates in different places. But the unreliability in terms of keeping appointments, schedules, promising to email, or call, or show up at a certain times, or by a certain time, or by a certain date, including all paperwork, invoices, bids, proposals, receipts, warranties, literally every single exchange I had with them over more than a year's time involved some manner or degree of them saying one thing before something else ended up happening instead. Literally every step of the way. And to add insult to injury, when I am the one who was keeping up my end of bargain all along, I would sometimes be met with rudeness and at times even hostility when I confronted them about all of this, simply because I wasn't going to sit by and do nothing while, for example, paperwork that I was promised, repeatedly never arrived. But even when they weren't being unfairly defensive there was still more false promises involved. And supposedly there is someone who works in the office, but he has never once answered the phone and has barely ever bothered to return any of my emails. This is, of course, by all normal and decent standards, completely unprofessional and unacceptable. And to make matters worse, they missed one of the cracks when they were sealing them in my crawlspace after installing the piers, and I told them about it right away, and they have been supposedly coming back to finish it anytime for the past 6 months now. And likewise, when I call to ask why I'm still forced to deal with this, I am met with excuses, deflections, and even pushback in a rude way...as if I've done something wrong. You want me to stop bugging you? Then finish the job that you promised, that you are contracted for, and that I have since paid you in full for, even though it's technically not even done yet. This is totally inexcusable by all basic standards of common sense and professionalism. And I can't understand it, because the owner seemed to be a bright and good person every time I spoke with him on the phone or in person, while he was trying to secure the job. But during and afterward? Unfortunately, a totally different story.

Overall very nice guys, did a good job and I would recommend. That being said, there was good and bad that I think everyone should know - and should ask all pros about. Positives: 1. Window was installed professionally 2. All parts installed correctly and done well 3. Completed in the time frame specified 4. Nice guys that were amicable Negatives: 1. They didn't clean up - left large mess of drywall on the interior that I had to clean up 2. Bad dry wall cut - they cut it greater than 4" outside the cut in the concrete, which made it very difficult for interior framing of the window without replacing drywall 3. Trampled shrubs - they dug up the plants and shrubs, but then trampled on some of them 4. Dead grass - machine to dig out hole ripped a lot of the grass out. Also, a lot of mud was in the grass that required work to rake back into dirt areas and off the grass Not positive or negative, but be aware: 1. Settling - the dirt around the egress window settled by nearly 2-3 feet! Requires follow up to fill in the hole 2. Excess dirt - plan for a very large amount of excess dirt

KC Foundation Repair came out and put in an egress window in about four hours. They checked in with me during the job and cleaned up quickly when they finished. Looking forward to having them do our driveway!👍

Andrew and his team have been fantastic from the first time we made contact. We reached out when we got water in our basement - Andrew came out the next day and gave us a quote, he explained the issue, how to stop the issue and gave us some options. We liked his honestly and went with KC foundation repair and excavation for our job. It took us some time to get the money together, but once we did they were able to come out and do the repair 2 weeks later. The guys were all kind, punctual and knowledgeable. They explained everything going on and answered all questions. The work was done quickly and we don't have water in the basement anymore. They put piers in under our front stoop, installed carbon fiber straps, installed dimple board and drain tile, installed an additional sump pump, and filled a huge crack in our basement wall. This is a great company - Andrew and his team are top notch and I would recommend them to anyone needing foundation work done.
