I called Livingston County TV and Appliance and asked if they worked on Whirlpool Dishwashers. And they did. Asked me when a good day for me to come over and check the dishwasher out. The repairman arrived on time and in 45 minutes he had cleaned top and lower washer arms, cleaned out the crud in the screen. And explained that in Chillicothe, the water leaves deposits and then explained and showed my husband how to clean the arms and check the screen area for debris. My husband left the debris on the counter for me to find. LOL Now my machine is nice and quiet.
