Howard was able to come out and do the job the same day I called. Job was done quickly and professionally. Howard also replaced what were insufficient door stops from the manufacturer. Price was reasonable. Would recommend him and use him again.

I remodeled a Master Bath, a complete GUT! Afterwards, I needed a reliable person to clean, re-install the shower enclosure. I have heard many stories of the enclosures leaking after a clean, re-install. Artistic Mirror worked with my schedule and did an OUTSTANDING job. I contacted Artistic Mirror and Shower Door which has been renamed St. Louis Shower and Door, LLC for an estimate. As this is an older house with some settling issues I was concerned that it would be difficult to get a good fit in a shower door. Howard came out and did a thorough inspection of the project. He took careful measurements of the opening and we discussed the variables that could be changed, if needed: door swing, frame-less vs. framed, glass type, etc. After giving him a 50% deposit, he said that it would be a week to ten days for installation. The door was installed this morning, fits perfectly and truly improves the overall look of the bathroom. I appreciate his careful consideration of all my questions and the excellent installation, which takes into account the odd shape of the opening due to settling issues.

I called Artistic Mirror and Shower Doors (now St Louis Shower Doors) to replace a very old shower door after reading the reviews on Angies List. Howard quoted me a price for new shower doors on the phone. I agreed to the price and he came to the house and measured that Saturday.
Our shower is 3' x 5' wide and has 2 shower heads. After some discussion my husband and I realized we entered the shower from different sides. Howard offered to add an additional handle to one of the doors and adjust the and quot;bumpersand quot; (my term) where the doors meet the side frames. He also gave us advice on how high our new doors should be and showed us samples of the different types of glass available. He helped us choose one that would suit our taste (we chose one that has a rain-like appearance).
In less than a week the new doors were in. Howard and his installer arrived right on time, had the doors installed in an hour, and cleaned up the area. All in all this was an easy and worthwhile experience. Howard was very pleasant, helpful and professional, the price was right, and the doors are great. It makes the entire room seem brighter and more up-to-date.

I called Howard who gave me enough information over the phone that I asked him to come by and make an estimate, which he did the next day. He gave me several options for a shower door in a Master, told me why each one worked, and when I told him that looks didn't matter a huge amount because the shower is in a water closet (not even visible from the main door of the bath) he recommended going with a less expensive option since the only difference was looks, not durability. He ordered the door, which came in less than a week. When he installed it, he noticed a small scratch on the brushed metal at the top of the door, which I might not have even seen, and said he would reorder that piece and replace it, which he did several days later. Very punctual, very clean, excellent job completed in 1 1/2 weeks even with a replacement part.

I contacted them originally through a home improvement store, as they were a go-to company for that store's kitchen/bath remodeling department when it comes to custom glass. I talked to the owner on the phone, but couldn't quite get through what my goal was. I was given his contact information and went home to try to make the description in the presence of the actual tub, instead of working from memory. The situation was still difficult to convey, so he asked for some pictures of the tub and window. I emailed some digital pictures to him and he was able to get an idea of what I was trying to do. He scheduled a time to come over and look at it in person to get the measurements. In a couple of days he came over to measure up the opening and we determined that all the glass would have to be custom cut due to the dimensions of the dimensions of the tub. He was able to order glass that matched the pattern in the window. The parts came in after a couple of days and he came back the next week for the install. He and a partner showed up and installed the shower door in about 2 hours. They were in and out and left us with instructions not to use the shower until the next morning, which we heeded. We've been enjoying the shower door for a few weeks now and it was definitely a good idea. The owner was a bit gruff, but he was friendly enough. Overall, I am happy with the service and the value of the work.

They were more reasonable than other companies, in terms of price. They were efficient, and they did a good job. I think the quality of the glass isn't as high as what I had previously, but they still did a great job.

"We at AMSD strive to provide quality products to our customers at affordable prices. I don't recall Member's prior shower door but we always give several options for glass thickness and prices. Price was a concern of hers and she elected to not upgrade to the thicker glass for the doors because the hardware color she selected was the most expensive. We would never install a product that would not meet our strict standards for quality."

Got Howard s name from the List, so I tried him. He always got back to me when he said he would. I listened to his recommendations. He did a great job quickly, and I felt was there just to make me happy. My shower area was so out of plumb, and he did such a good job that you couldn t notice. I got the rain glass with the u shaped handle in chrome. As he said, the handle really adds to the look of the door. It s a great job, a great look, and I loved working w/him - has a wonderful sense of humor and attitude.
