Window and Patio screens

One door didn't look tight and my dog tapped it and it came adrift. Old doors admittedly. They did come promptly to fix but it didn't last long. All other doors are fine. I have called at least 3 times, texted and emailed through their website. No response. I left a message that I understand it's an old door but perhaps they could offer a solution. Now have a screen door with a screen flapping in the breeze.

The whole process went very well, and we would definitely hire them again. Initial call - I was able to get a quote over the phone, and she was very helpful and friendly while explaining the process to me. She gave me a price for replacing just the screen on a standard window and one for replacing the frame and screen (if the frame could not be reused). She said they would adjust the price for smaller windows. I received a confirmation email for the appointment. Day of service - They were supposed to arrive between 11:00 - 12 noon. I called at 11:55 to see if they were coming and was told they just finished the previous job and were on their way. They arrived around 12:45. Both workers were very friendly, courteous, and professional. They were able to reuse the screen frames, and they marked each frame's location, so the screens were put back in the correct window. They completed the job in a couple of hours, and the new screens look great! One of the guys helped put back in a window that I managed to get off track when I was cleaning it. He also helped close a retractable screen (this one was not being replaced) on our storm door that was stuck. I offered to pay him for this, and he said there was no additional charge. Additional info - They removed the screens from the inside of the window, so they will need access from the inside of your house. Because some of the windows were smaller, the actual price was lower than the estimate (as she said would happen). I received a thank you email right after the job was completed. My husband told me he was pleasantly surprised at how polite and professional the workers were.

Screens on-site was hired through a third party contractor. They replaced 20+ window screens and 4 door (patio) screens. The work included removal of the existing screens and was completed in approximately 2 hours. The existing screen frames were re-used. Since the company was sub-contracted and the cost was "marked-up" by the third party, we do not know the exact price of all repairs. Two damaged doors not covered by the third party were replaced and the cost was very reasonable. As commented by the business owner, it was "like giving the house a face lift".

This was the best experience I've had with a vendor in a long time. I gave them information online, they responded within 24 hours, set up an appointment and gave me a fair estimate. Sean arrived on time, his work was excellent and he was polite and pleasant. This is a family owned business that could teach many larger companies what the word "service" means. The owner, John, was replacing screens at the house next door and I asked him when he was finished to come over and give me a bid, which he agreed too. The bid was accepted so I made an appointment about 2-3 weeks out. (This is about the only company that will do this kind of work, onsite, because of the large size of the window screens) John and helper (Jeff) arrived promptly at 8 am and started the job and did not take any breaks and completed the job in about 3 hours and 15 minutes. Wow! They also knocked out the "kick plate" on the screen door and replaced it with just screen only; that way my little dog could look out the door anytime. Also, my screen door did not close all the way, you always had to force it closed, so Jeff adjusted the threshold at no cost and now it closes completely. What nice gentleman and such good and efficient workers. I know this company has one bad review, which did bother me in my selection and I would like to address. You know there's always two sides to every story and once you here his side of the story you have a tendency to itch you head and say "really." As far as John calling me the day before the job, which he didn't and that bothered me, to his credit though he arrived at my house just like he promised. John admits that if he would have answered every phone call while he was working on my sun porch that it probably would have taken 5 hours to complete the job. So be sure and leave him a message!

Personally I'm glad I went with this company and I would recommend him to anyone and won't hesitate using him again. What a very professional job and quality work from two genuinely nice people.

I contacted Mike thru Angie's List.   He responded quickly and after a couple of clarifying emails (ie, what I wanted, his need for info re: the screens; what he could do, estimate for the job) we set up an appt. within the week of initial contact.

These doors were purchased  less than a year ago.  They were Larson storm doors with full view screens.   When my dog first went through the screen, the frame bent and the spline pulled out too.   Larson representatives told me they couldn't replace my screens with anything better and suggested to try a local screen company instead. 

Mike's son and assistant arrived in a huge van where they did all of their work.   After looking over the screens and talking about my problems- large dog, not enough support on doors, they decided to completely rebuild my screens, add pet strength screen and a reinforcing bar across the frame.

The screens look fantastic.  The screen itself is tight and  sturdy.   The frame is only slightly wider and the reinforcing bar looks like is belongs there.   The bar also gives you a place to help open your door rather that pushing on the screen.

The original estimate was $125. for one door.   I had them redo both, even though the other door had not (yet) suffered any damage.   The total was $185.00 for the two doors.

Great! I got an online estimate which they adjusted a couple of times as I changed my mind about options. It was a fair estimate and we scheduled them to come out. They did a great job! Screens look great, no mess, and no surprises in cost from the estimate. They were very friendly and professional from start to finish! I would definitely recommend this company!

All work was done at the home. Work was performed in a large trailer towed to my home. There were several types of screen material to choose from, including pet-resistant screen, which we used on the screen door. Screens look great now. They are tight, even and attractive. They did a great job, and i will use them later this year to replace the rest of my screens. You can usually find a coupon for them in the shopper ads, that will knock off part of the cost.

Called on Monday.  They showed up on Tuesday.  I didn't have to be at home.  They did an excellent job.

It went very well.  I really like that they come to your house, and the work was very professional.  Just one thing to keep in mind...when Michael arrived to fix the screens, I missed one of the screens that I included in my list for the estimate.  Since I didn't realize this until he had left, I brought the screen to their place of business to be repaired.  I would suggest that you double-check the estimate sheet so that no screens are missed during their visit (and would suggest that the company do this double-check also). I will not make this mistake the next time, and I definitely plan to use them again in the future.  The screens look great.

I contacted this company via their website's project estimator. They promptly replied via  email with the cost to repair and replace several screens for my house. However, there was some delay in scheduling the work to be completed. The company did not respond to my repeated requests to schedule via email and voicemail. I don't know what happened or why they did not respond.
When I complained to Screens Onsite, John responded. He apologized that my request fell through the cracks. He offered to come out that day and do the work. He arrived on time and quickly did the work repairing four screens and replacing two. In spite of the difficulty I had contacting the company I would recommend them. My screens look great!

Michaeil Bailey and his helper showed up promptly at the agreed upon time.  They removed the damaged screens and repaired them in their mobil trailer workshop.  When the screens were completed they re-installed them on my windows and all this was done within an hour and a half of their arriving.  The price was competitive with places that required me to bring my screens to them but Screens Onsite came to my home, saving me the aggravation of dragging the screens somewhere else.  I would recommend them highly for quick and easy repairs to any damaged screens you may have.

I had 8 large screens and 2 door screens replaced on my screened-in back porch.  The vendor arrived about a week earlier than agreed upon, but since I was home that afternoon I was OK with that.  The two of them worked over 3 hours. The work was done in a very professional manner and the workmen were very courteous.  A very nicely done project!

We were in the process of getting our home ready to go on the market and wanted good curb appeal. Michael arrived at the specified time took the screens out of the windows and replaced them.  They look wonderful!  Michael was such a gentleman.  He took time to explain what had happened to the screens and gave me an excellent recommendation for a flooring company while he was here. If we ever need screens again, we are calling Onsite Screen Repair to do the job!
