I did not use the provider. The provider did not return my calls.

"Apologies for missing your inquiry, [Member Name Removed]! We typically only handle higher-dollar large-scale remodeling projects. If you need referrals, however, we're more than happy to provide them. Hope all is well!"

Kim reviewed my home plans we had drawn by an architect.  After looking at the plans and our schedule, he responded that the project wouldn't fit their scope or timeline for work they normally do.  I was at first disappointed, but Kim went out of his way to answer any questions I had, and even offered to give me advice if I had any questions about other builders who were bidding on the project.  While I didn't use his company, he came across as very open and honest, helpful and responsive to what I needed done and how I could best achieve that, even when I didn't hire him.  He will definitely be my first call for future construction projects.

We contacted three general contractors to bid a major addition to our home. Hibbs was not the most expensive, nor was it the cheapest. The bids for the sub contractors were competitive, but more importantly, Kim made sure that we had no question about prices, materials, timeline or the people involved in the project.

Kim Hibbs was extremely thorough and communicated every point of this project before, during and has let us know that he is there for us after. He or his trustworthy foreman were on the project every time a sub contractor was on-site, and were quick to respond to us. He educated us on all of our options and was He or his foreman were on the project every time a sub contractor was on-site, and quick to respond to us.competitive in pricing. He has experience and continually educates himself and his staff. We know we are not easy customers!

I cannot say enough about the high level of communication and detail orientation throughout this project.  Excellent quality.  Competitive pricing.  Environmentally responsible.  Astounding reliability.  Fantastic results.

Kim Hibbs, from Hibbs Homes, LLC, was very responsive from the first contact and subsequent contacts.  He was informative, professional, and up front with his pricing.  Had we not decided to wait a couple of more years to build, he would have been one of our top picks.  I felt confident about his capabilities after our very first phone conversation.  Give him a call!

We have custom built 3 homes.  This was our best experience ever working with a contractor.  Results were better then we had dreamed.  Responsiveness was higher then ever expected.  Top line crew.  We wish we had another project.

I contacted Kim Hibbs, with Hibbs Homes, and was almost immediatly contacted by him directly after leaving a message. We were unable to connect via phone due to my schedule, but after several attempts started to correspond via email. I explained that I am a single parent that recently purchased a home that had been rehabbed and had noticed a large patch of mold that had appeared only 2 months after having the basement finished. Kim and I made an appointment for several days later. He arrived with another gentleman by the name of Matt Belcher and proceeded to look over my areas of concern very throughly. Due to the area being covered with drywall it was difficult for them to give me a firm quote, but they did give me a "worst case scenerio" quote. I greatly appreciated this. Basically, it was the amount they would charge me if they encountered the worst possible situation. The price they had given me was $1250. This included drywall removal, leak repair, toilet repair in guest bathroom, and dryer vent installation in basement.

Several days later I contacted Kim and told him that I would like them to start work as soon as possible, due to the issue with the mold and the possible health concerns that I had for my family. Kim contacted me quickly there after and we scheduled for them to start work that Thursday at 7:30am. At 7am, on Thursday morning, I walked out of my front door and the HVAC contractor was sitting in front of my house. He proceeded to introduce himself and ask me to show him where the dryer was located. He immediatly started to work.

At 7:25am Matt Belcher and a the carpenter arrived to dismantle the drywall and soffett in the stairway to the basement. Matt in detail explained what exactly he wanted done to the area. The carpenter was done in less than an hour. Matt in detail then explained to me what and where he thought the leak may be occuring. He even put down a trash bag to try and collect whatever water may come from the leak until the plumber arrived at noon that same day.
Matt then stayed around to make sure that everything went smoothly with the HVAC contractor. At 8:30am everyone had left.

Around noon that day the plumbing contractor arrived. He informed me that the leak in the basement where the mold was located was going to be "an easy fix". I also showed him where I was having issues with my toilet leaking in the guest bathroom. I also mentioned that my toilet in the master bathroom had issues with leaking as well. He inspected both toilets and told me that he would dismantle and rebuild the toilet in the guest bathroom, but that I should wait to do anything to the toilet in the master bathroom. He was very honest and told me that he didn't see any leakage or any reason to make repairs at this time. He quickly fixed the leak in the basement and moved on to the toilet in the guest bath. He had all of the parts for the repair project in his vehicle, which made things flow very smoothly. As he repaired the toilet he explained different areas of concern and why he was making the repairs. a little less than 2 hours later he was completely done with all of the repair projects. During this time Kim Hibbs had called to see how things were going and to check and make sure things were going smoothly.

I have had work done by contractors in the past. Many will ask for money up front or will increase the amount of the quote in the middle of the project. I had people telling me horror stories of how contractors took their money and ran, never to be seen again. I actually had to ask Kim how much I owed him. The initail "worst case scenario" quote was $1250...the actual price was $685. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Kim Hibbs and Matt Belcher. They are a class act and a company I would highly recommend. I was intimidated in the beginning by the whole process, being a woman who knows very little about the construction industry, but I feel that I now have a person that I can call on to guide me. The interesting thing is that Hibbs Homes is known more for building luxury homes, but yet he treated my small home repair as if it was just as important as a much larger scale remodeling project.  Thank you to Kim, Matt, and all of your staff and contractors for a job well done and at a very reasonable price.

  • Competitive Pricing
    • We obtained quotes from 3 builders. Hibbs quote was by far the most transparent and comprehensive of the bids. Of the 3 quotes, Hibbs was in the middle, but when we compared the quotes apples to apples in terms of quality and detail, it may have been the most competitive price all in.
    • Hibbs made great efforts to ensure that as the project progressed (and we added upgrades!), that remarkably the project stayed within our original budget.
  • Communication
    • Hibbs made communication a commitment and #1 priority throughout the entire project.  Hibbs and his team were available continuously via email, txt, cell and in person
    • Hibbs foreman was on site almost every day and also communicated every detail of interest for us and also made my wife super confortable asking questions and at ease with the crew that was around the home on a constant basis
  • Professionalism
    • My family always felt comfortable with the crew on the job site and their considerations for ongoing life as we lived in the house through the construction
    • Sub-contractors were friendly, neat, and highly skilled.  Most of the work done surpassed expectations.
  • Design
    • We had already completed a lot of our design with an independent architect before meeting Hibbs homes. But I think we could have obtained a great design working directly with Hibb's team from beginning to end
    • We made many design considerations as we saw the project take shape and Hibbs was infinitely willing to change the plans to suite our desires
    • Although we didn't take advantage of most of the options, Hibbs offered many great 'green' building options to lower utilities and protect the environment
  • Attention to detail & Quality
    • Hibbs has been great about distilling conversations into itemized lists of action items to ensure we got what we desired out of the project. Ultimately work was done on 2,500 sq feet, much of which was in our existing living space and required great detail to match perfectly our existing trim, hardwood floor, cabinets etc, all of which turned out seamlessly
    • Our addition had quite a few high end features, including 25 feet of built in cabinets, detailed iron work and a custom master bath, all of which came out with great quality.

In short, we love our home and I would confidently recommend Hibbs homes for any project, whether new construction, a large addition, or a remodel. From the time you meet Kim Hibb's team to the end of the construction you will be glad you have the highest quality builder and a sense that your project is most important.
