"Thank you for the positive review! We greatly appreciate your business. :)"
"Thank you very much for the review. We appreciate the opportunity to service your HVAC and Appliance needs. We also appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we do right so that we can reward our technicians for doing great work."
"Thank you so much for the review. We love to hear that our service personnel are performing outstanding work for our customers. Please let us know if we can be of service."
Did fine job on requested service but seemed more interested in selling me more items. When they discussed replacing the upstairs thermostat, I requested several times for them to tell me the cheapest one. After the 3rd time he finally told me which one would be $3xx. I still had no idea what the others cost.
Also they wanted to install a UV light for $1600 bc of mold. I declined. Later when I did research I discovered that there wasn't any proof that the UV light reduced mold growth. I spoke with another ac and furnace company and he felt that it was unnecessary also. We have since cleaned out the mold with bleach and also reduced the humidity in the basement and have not had any more problems.
I will not use them again. I had used them in my old house and I never had a problem with them. However, I felt like they were trying to upcharge me on additional items in my new home. Very disappointed and frustrated.
"[Member name removed], I am very sorry to hear you had a bad experience with our company. We train diligently on educating our clients about their systems and what areas we see need improvements. We have been working closely with our suppliers and manufacturers to keep prices in line. We know, we are not nor will ever be the cheapest option for in home service. However we do find many clients over the years find we are the best "value". As far as the mold issue here is an excerpt from an EPA.GOV iaq article "UVGI cleaners in a surface disinfection application are installed in air-handling units to prevent or limit the growth of vegetative bacteria and molds on moist surfaces in the HVAC system.34, 39, 40, 43 One study reported a 99-percent reduction in microbial contaminants growing on exposed HVAC surfaces, but a reduction in airborne bacteria of only 25 to 30 percent.44 One reason that the surface disinfection application provides only a slightly noticeable reduction in airborne microbial concentrations may be that microorganisms in the airstream are exposed to the UV light for a shorter time. Conversely, microorganisms growing on exposed HVAC surfaces are given prolonged direct UVGI exposure. Another study found that UV lamps yielded somewhat lower levels of mold in the fiberglass insulation lining the air-handling unit.40 Prolonged direct UVGI exposure can destroy vegetative microbial growth—but not most spores—on the surfaces of forced-ventilation units, filters, cooling coils, or drain pans. Killing molds and bacteria while they are still in the susceptible vegetative state reduces the formation of additional spores" I believe almost any position, or "fact" can be proven or disproven by information on the internet. What I do know as "fact" is that systems where UVC lighting is used to reduce biological growth, in our experience works. We often find that our clients prefer to know what is avialable and we make recommendations based on issues that we find with their systems. We would rather err on the side of too much information than run the risk of having a client find out they had an issue, (we knew about, and knew how to make it better) and didn't offer solutions or options. Finally we offer 100% satisfaction guarantee. I would have welcomed a discussion about your experience at that time rather than having someone unhappy with us for months. Our Satisfaction Guarantee stands I would still enjoy the opportunity to make this right by you. Thank you, Travis Seeger Owner Chesterfield Service 636-532-5841"
"Thank you very much for the review! We know we are not the "cheap guys" in town and frankly do not aspire to be, however, the quality of installation, customer service, and service after the sale, are why we may be more costly initially. But the long term value in dealing with a contractor that has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and is willing to back it up, is "pricless".... Thank you agian for your business we greatly value the continued relationship!!!"
"Thank you for "rating" us we greatly appreciate all feedback from our clients!!! We do our very best to be responsive and work within the guidelines of manufacturers warranties and or home warranties to be as cost effective as possible."
I would most assuredly use this company again. I hope all the technicians are as nice as Nick.
"Thanks you for the kind review, I will share your sentiment with our staff. We greatly appreciate when people take a moment to share how we did a "good" job for them!!! Thank you, Travis"
