A day after the job was done, it was obvious that it wasn't done right.  There were 2 halves of the driveway that were a completely different color (1 half a dark black, the other half a faded black/gray).  I took a picture and sent it to Mike.  I then called him to discuss, and he agreed that it did not turn out well, and he assured me that he would "take care of it" and make sure I was happy.
Well, now after 2 months of waiting (from the original time of the work), and not hearing back from Mike, I place a follow up call and leave a voicemail.  Mike calls me back and leaves a voicemail stating that times are tough for him, and that he will need $200 from me to fix the job.
There is no way I will ever use his services again, and will make sure all friends and coworkers are aware of his business practices.

Mike was very responsive to my request for a driveway seal and assured me that this late in the season is still fine to do the sealing.
He went out of his way to extra fill some cracks that I felt were a bit of a problem. He and his crew were very nice and helpful and did not seem to care much that I was watching the work.
There were a few spatters of the driveway sealant that probably could have been avoided but nothing dramatic.
Overall I was very satisfied and will certainly use Mike and his crew again.

A costly mistake for homeowner.

They came out and gave us a bid right away, completed the work within a week. Very neat and professional.

They were very, very professional and they didn't make a mess because that stuff can really be messy. We hardly knew they were here. We have a big driveway. They were really good about telling us how we needed to prepare and when they would be out because of the changing weather. It is hard to schedule because you can't have rain 24 hours either side of the application. We had rain. It all worked out really well. We didn't have to be here. They were fast and we haven't had any problems with the seal coat peeling off. They were really easy to work with. Their price was pretty competitive. They were easy to get hold of.

Work performed effectively and expeditiously by 3 man crew (including contractor) with each appearing to know what to do and when. Though working with a rather messy material there was no residue left and adjacent areas were left neat and clean. I had several unsolicited quotes several weeks earlier, that were somewhat lower, but was not impressed by their credentials. Mike Hug has a good reputation, does quality work, deals fairly and is well worth his reasonable charges.

It was a good experience.

Mike Hug promptly returned my initial phone call and presented me a quote within 48 hours. Job was scheduled and performed to specification as promised. Quality of work was excellent with attention given to neatness and detail. My driveway is gorgeous and protected for years to come. Mike is easy to work with and I would hire him again.
