Completed work in a timely manner, however,his work was sub-par as the porch leaked whenever it rained.He returned twice over the course of a year to try and stop the leaks. One method he used is smearing black joe on the roof,to which I was not happy.Finally, he refused to come back anymore. I would contact him, and he would promise to show up,but he would not. He gave a year written warranty on his work, so approximately 2 or 3 weeks before the year warranty was up, I took him to small claims court. I was granted a judgement against him, however, he turned out to be judgement proof. He had no bank accounts in his name, no bonds, and no insurance. I asked him if he intended to pay,and of course he said he would. 2 years later and I have yet to see any money. I have given Mr. Tatum more than enough time to make this right, before I posted this. Now with Joplin suffering a major catastrophe from an EF 5 tornado, I feel it is VERY important to put this information out for anyone contemplating hiring this unsavory character.
