In June 2015, I took my car into Hi-Tech and told them that I wanted them to replace the oil pan gasket because it is leaking. The owner told me that I might have oil leaking from other places and it might not be the oil pan gasket, even though I specifically said that another mechanic (only does oil changes) told me that the oil pan gasket was leaking!
I assumed that for a diagnostic/estimate that there would be no charge since the owner didn't give me a price quote for the diagnostic of the oil leak since I wanted them to do the repair.
A special fluid that glows under a black light was put into my oil tank and I was told to drive the car for a time then bring the car back and they would shine the black light to see where the oil was leaking.
I brought my car back on July 7, 2015, and they looked under the hood with the black light and SURPRISE the oil pan gasket was the MAIN oil leak just as I had already told them! There were two other minor oil leaks which I also ALREADY knew about.
As I was about to ask them to go ahead and replace the oil pan gasket, this shop was presenting me with a BILL for this 'diagnostic' for $96.00 and also a $2.00 charge for a paper floor mat the mechanic put in the driver's side of my car!
I was in shock, but I went ahead and paid the bill and did NOT go ahead with the repairs because that would have been another $759.00!
I will not ever return to this shop again and I would advise women to stay away from this place because it's obvious to me now that they took advantage of me because they saw an 'ignorant woman' coming!

It has been very good. It turned out to be a minor issue and I paid less than $100. The A/C has worked out just fine. Their service has been good and they've taken care of the problems. They usually look for easy solutions but they didn't automatically say that I needed a new air conditioner this time; they were able to fix whatever was wrong with it. We will be using them again.
