Alder Creek Construction Inc

This process was complicated because I live in Blue Springs, MO and my dad's house is in Crane, MO -- approximately 250 miles away. I checked through the list of contractors in the southwest Missouri area and found Alder Creek Construction. They were located close to my dad's house and was the only listing with all of the required licensing and insurance. I was originally contacted by Dan Briley who said his son, Chris, would be contacting me. Chris and I spoke on the phone a few times and when I made plans to travel to my dad's house, Chris and I set a time and date for him to come look over the repairs needed. I had sent Alder Creek a copy of the inspection that had been done on the house the year before so they would be familiar with what needed to be done. Chris and I went through the house discussing the problem areas and he explained how the repairs would be done. Chris then put together a draft contract and sent it to me via e-mail. After sharing the contract with my sister and dad, we approved the plan and sent a signed contract and deposit to Alder Creek. Work was started mid-December even though we were told they wouldn't be able to start until January 2015. As the work progressed, Chris was very good at keeping me abreast of what was being done and any questions or concerns he had. Originally, he asked my sister and I to chose flooring and paint colors, but he ended up choosing them for us, with our approval. I felt very comfortable with Chris' decisions since he basically knew what we wanted. The work went very quickly and was done by the first week of January 2015. I have not been to the house but Chris was thoughtful enough to take pictures of the work and send them to me. I was very impressed by what I saw in the pictures -- they even had the house and floors cleaned!! We did have a slight problem getting money together to make the final payment, but Chris was very generous and said to let him know when they would be getting the money. Chris even went so far as to set up an account so he could accept credit cards, which we gladly used to pay the remaining balance. I cannot say enough about Alder Creek Construction and Chris Briley. Chris was very knowledgeable, understanding, thoughtful, prompt, trustworthy . . . he is absolutely amazing!! I would suggest anyone in that area who is looking for someone to do remodeling or repairs to definitely contact Alder Creek Construction. They won't be sorry!!

They were great to work with. They not only remodeled the bathrooms but they provided suggestions to improve the layout. They re-routed the plumbing and installed new tubs, vanities, fixtures, etc. Installed porcelain tile in the bathrooms, kitchen floor, kitchen back splash, sun room and office. Their workmanship is fantastic. I am very particular and tend to scrutinize the work of contractors and I cannot find any flaws in their work. They also installed hardwood flooring throughout the rest of the house and the floor looks beautiful.
