The air conditioning in our condo stopped working on a particularly hot and humid day. He was recommended by a friend as one they had used and was used by a number of people in a local condominium complex. When I called he said he had a busy day but would try to get to it the following day. About 3 hours later he showed up, diagnosed the problem as a capacitor, fixed it and cleaned up everything within half an hour. He was terrific, friendly and the price was below what I expected.
In addition, when I had talked to him on the phone he knew the condo complex we were in and suggested that if it was the original air conditioning unit it was very old and might need replacing. We were prepared for a significant expense, which he could have charged us for a new one without us knowing. He didn't, and in addition to doing the work well and reasonably, HE WAS HONEST.
