When biding my job (50 year old house never been updated=every room needed something) he insisted in bidding the job by the hour (stating it would be cheaper for me) & we agreed to meet again to decide cover colors & prioritize the 2 page list of work. He never called to schedule the 2nd visit. On Friday, I called to confirm he still wanted the job on Monday & he admitted that he forgot our agreement to meet a 2nd time. We agreed he would bring enough of both colors for outlet, switches, & covers with him so I could choose. He arrived on Monday on time, but sat in truck for 40 min on phone. He stated that Mondays were hard to catch up weekend phone calls. I said that I wasn't going to be on the clock for time he talked in his truck. During the first 3 hours, he got 5 calls & stopped to talk each time. I asked if he took a lunch break & he said that he ate while working. Then he said that he didn't have enough of the right color plus I discovered that he had brought the wrong can lights. If he would have asked, I would have said I never would have picked 6" cans for such a small room. Again, this would have been discussed on the 2nd visit if we had it. He said he had to go to the store to get supplies. 1 hour later, he returns with the color I chose & the correct size cans. I live 1 mile from Home Depot & he brought in a Home Depot sack. At 3:00 pm he says he has to stop working at my house & go to other jobs from the calls he got this morning, but will return tomorrow to do more. I said it will have to be 7:30 am & be ready to work at 7:30 am this time. It takes him 2 hours to install 1 can light & I say that is all we are doing this time. Then I get the bill: 1 & 1/2 hours = $112.50 for "shopping" was added onto the 7 hours he was here working. Obviously I paid for his calls, lunch, and not following through with the 2nd meeting to prioritize. The only reason I let him return the 2nd day was because I had a family Christmas party coming to the house in 4 days & he knew that. I will not be calling him back to complete more of the list of repairs. Also, I cleaned up & attached the crystals on 1 fixture so more time would not be added.

He came over a few hours after i contacted him. He had actually done electrical work for me the year before and i had lost his phone number so it was a nice surprise to have him show up at my door. He had the problem fixed in a few hours. Very very nice man.

I submitted my request very early in the morning and they called promptly at 7am. He was very pleasant and came out to do an estimate later that day. After we met I hired him to bring some wiring up to code and fixture repair. He set a date for the next week. On the day of repair he arrived exactly at the time he promised and completed all repairs I asked for at the cost we agreed on. The repairs were high quality as you would expect from an electrician. Overall very satisfied with this experience
