Overall, Pro Pool hires competent and responsible lifeguards who have been amazing.  At times, our subdivision representatives have had to make suggestions or give reminders to a lifeguard for enforcing pool rules.  The Pro Pool management are very responsive and punctual to our requests and needs and typically train their lifeguards to do an excellent job.  The work of opening/closing and maintaining the pool and its mechanics has also been very good.

We have an annual contract. They provide weekly service; open and close the pool; take the pool cover away for cleaning and storage; and then winterize at the end of the season. Highly reliable. We get the same service person each week so he knows the workings of all our pool equipment (heater, pump and salt water generator). The best service of the four providers we have worked with in St. Louis by far.
DO NOT CONFUSE POOL PROS WITH Pro Pool. Pro Pool is NOT a reputable company. Pool Pros IS a highly reputable company.

Pro Pool was great - they responded immediately to my problem and fixed it right away.

it all started well, we needed a responsible pool company and pro pools presented them self's as such a company. we called almost all the references, and everyone had good things to say about this company. so we discussed this with our board members and after careful consideration we agreed to hire pro pools. the first year went off very well, minor issues but thats all its to be expected for the first time. as the year progressed we noticed a few things we didnt like and we brought it to their attention. and they took care or it . last year we had a motor go bad in the pump house screeching like crazy i called pro pool to inform them of the situation and asked them to come out to check this situation out. they didnt show up for 3 days. this came close to me having to close our pool because the pump was not working properly and the condition of the water was compromised. we feel this company needs to be more tentative to the residents needs. after all pro pools works for us we dont work for them. the service we have received from pro pools leaves little to be desired. our needs were not met .we are constantly calling to complain about what the lifeguards have not done, or how they are acting. we here at Bayfield Resident association have set our standard for our residents very high. our residents deserve to have the best experience possible. being is that our residents are paying for that experience.its up to us,the board members to put the proper people in place to assure them of that experience. with pro pools we did not have that experience to many issues with management and the life guards. when a pool company is responsible for providing LIFE GUARDS you would think that they would provide QUALITY lifeguards not teenagers that are young and immature. we have a lot of children in our pool and we need to know that we can trust them to do the very best they can possibly do and that the safety of our residents is their number one priority. and we just dont get that feeling from pro pools. needless to say we will NOT be renewing the contract with PRO POOLS.

They do nice work. They don't show up when they say they will but besides that they do good work. They do a terrific job of open and closing, but they are gong to charge you twice as much. They also paint pools, which is hard to find. Their men are always very professional and polite.
