Excellent service from the initial consult to completion of work and clean up.  Were timely with lien wavers, contract, and billing.  Never asked to see insurance quote of damages which showed us they were not trying to fleece us or our insurance like some other contractors who worked for us.  Came in under budget and work was completed on time as promised.  There are lots of fly by night companies that move into town after a storm, but these guys are the way to go!  Great work.

Patrick Kuyath was our rep with KMI. He was prompt and courteous. He worked with our insurance agent well and the project was done on time and looks wonderful! We highly recommend this company.

Management and sales at KMI were very nice. The work estimate was scheduled quickly and everything was explained in detail in terms of scope of work and approximate cost. Things started to break down when it came to scheduling the actual work and communicating to us when work was going to be performed. We had to call repeatedly to get the work done which was frustrating. Each group that preformed the work never really spoke to us or showed us what they did for approval before they left.

Metal pieces and finishing nails were found in our backyard and on the driveway which concerned us as we have two dogs that could swallow those pieces or get cut. Work on the window flashing took months to perform as they thought the work had been done when it hadn't. Overall it was a frustrating experience that I think could be remedied if they made a point to communicate with each other as well as their clients. The completed work was good and the price seemed fair.

I was honestly a little embarrassed even showing the rooms in such bad shape to contractors while pricing, but KMI was 100% professional and respectful.   They were also very accommodating of all my additional requests over the contract period, even installing some fixtures I purchased that were not included in the contract.  I am very pleased with the results and would definitely use them again.

I spoke w/Tim Deevers, each time I called..... which was nice to talk to the same person.  He responded very quickly.  He called with an explanation of the estimate he would be sending.  I received the estimate promptly and the work was scheduled.  I will definitely recommend this company.

Overall, the experience went well. I'll share the reasons for the B grades first, then the rest:
- Punctuality: I was told the roofers planned to change my roof on October 5th, and they didn't come by until the 7th. It's not that I had a problem with waiting a few extra days, but I wasn't called and informed that the team wouldn't make it on the 5th. So, an area for improvement is that if the company rep working directly with the customer says to expect the team on a given date and they later find that they won't make it, that rep should alert the customer to the delay so the customer isn't left wondering what's going on.
- Professionalism: The team did leave a few pop cans around the place and a small portion of my grass was a little chewed up by a trailer (or something). Not a huge deal, but it's something they can prevent by taking one last look as they are about to leave to make sure they're not leaving debris or marks around the property. 
Other than these two minor things, I think the company did a great job. If I had to have another roof done, I would be happy to hire the company again. The rep who came out to assess my roof was frank and did a good job of explaining the process of replacing the roof. Like the other bidders, he told me that he wouldn't worry about replacing the roofs of my other buildings since they're only outbuildings and appeared to be in decent shape. It was nice doing business with someone who wasn't trying to squeeze every penny out of the deal that he could.
Pricing was competitive compared to the other two bids and the rep working with me was responsive to my questions.

They did a much better job than the previous company. They did an absolute excellent job!

Ed was a pleasure to work with! He used the EPDM system for the roof. My house is white brick and I was able to get white shingles. The work is beautiful. I am very satisfied with EPDM system. It will prove to be cost effective if I need any additional work in the future. Already it is proving to be of great help in keeping my house cool. We are now in the midst of the height of hot summer weather I am able to keep my thermostat set 3 degrees warmer than usual. Great experience !

They did a great job and at a fair price.  They even fixed items that were not known by me to be missing such as some flashing around windows and dormers.  Fast, great cleanup and did a good job.  The only issue I had was I requested to be contacted before starting and this was not done due to a the site manager.  The workers were great and in the end it all worked out.  They do very good work for a really good price.  They even just roofed my parents home and are going to side it, gutter and windows as well.

After the Hail storm in the Spring of 2012 I received a bid from KMI. I signed the Contract in May and I knew it would take a while because there were a lot of roofs being replaced during that time.
I was unable to confirm a start date with KMI one day they just showed up and did the work.
The work was done great and better than expected but I don't think I would use them again because it was so hard to get information.

Things went excellent with them. Everything looked great when they were done.

They did an excellent job.  The salesman was friendly and answered questions, and the team that replaced the roof did a great job.  No complaints!

I have four buildings in my property that they had to do. They did great job on the roofing. I liked their punctuality and their timeliness. Their prices were reasonable and the quality of their work was good. The workers were polite and professional. One thing I really liked about them is that if they told me they were going to be here and they had a snag, they called me to let me know but they still asked me if I wanted them to come. I will use them again. I've already taken a bid from them in consideration for my next sale.

The weather was a huge factor in getting the job completed. The job went well and was completed with little or no interruption in daily activities.

They came when they said they would and did the job and came in on the estimate.
