Lots of incorrect bills (in their favor). Many calls not returned, particularly from the person assigned to my address. Would do my neighbor's lawn (they are customers) and forget I was a customer, too, and skip my house.  Then would show up twice in one week. Often nobody on crew spoke enough English to communicate with. Never consistently blew cuttings off front walk. Poor results on special projects. Lots of dead flowers if I was lazy and paid them to plant them.
Completely aggravating experience- they should stick with commercial only; their residential work (in my case) was horrid. Last year, I hired someone else to do plantings, etc. Just used Bluegrass for lawn, and often they did a very poor job. The company is divided into two parts: Bluegrass and Weedman. You never know whom you are speaking with or whom you should communicate with. They were even more confused than me- what a mess! Contract confusion always, but most importantly, they take no pride in their work, and never sent the same crew two weeks in a row. Won't have to worry about a contract this year, because they never sent me one, even though I usually begin my spring clean about now. But as has happened twice before, they will probably send a random crew out to mow,etc, never notify me, and then when I tell them I never signed a contract, they will argue with me. And that is how Bluegrass came to work on my property (1 1/2 acres) for the last three years: only the result of confusion, not because they were competent.
p.s. There was one particular women, a higher up, who was so rude to me I could not believe it. My husband called her 5 times and she never returned his call. That small billing issue took two months to resolve.

They’re reputable and they responded very quickly.  I wanted somebody to get out here quick and they did.

I have been with them since the beginning, about 15 years and I continue with them because they are good. I am one of their first customers. I would recommend them. They are reliable and have been for the last 18 years. It has been nice that I don't' have to think about it. Their rates have always been reasonable. They give me a break for prepaying the lawn work. Basically I have not had any motivation to check anything else out because these guys are so good. They aren't cheap, but I know I am getting what I pay for.

Spent time discussing best approach to pruning large branches overhanging the house.  Got the job done promptly.  Clean up of grounds was thorough.   Stacked cord wood neatly.

I have been using them since 1994. I"m very happy with their services.

Pointless. All that money spent, and I could tell no difference. Still had lots of weeds. Shrubs and trees looked fine before and after. For all I know, they could have been spraying water. Came back to reapply chemicals several times, but had no effect on weeds. Gave up. Switched to another company, which was much much worse. Finally working with another company, which is better, but not great.

They provide the service like clock work. When I called about a problem with our burning bushes, they were out within 48 hours determining that it was spider mites and treated for them successfully. They answer questions and explain their procedures very thoroughly. I do not recommend them for sprinkler maintenance, I was not happy with their sprinkler service.

THEY GAVE US AMPLE TIME TO PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE AS IT WAS DONE RIGHT BEFORE WE GOT MARRIED. THE BEST PART ABOUT IT IS THAT THEY DIDN''T CHARGE INTEREST ON THE BALANCE - THAT''S TOUGH TO FIND!

I COME HOME AND THE WORK IS DONE AND THE BILL IS WAITING FOR ME.
