May of 2017 I hired KMI LLC for construction tear down of a flat roof at my home. Once the work was completed I noticed several dips in my roof. I was told by an employee that this was normal. Days after completion it rained and the newly replaced roof leaked to the point I needed several buckets in different areas of my home. I was told by Patrick that leaks happen. KMI provides complimentary roof patching which I had to utilize over the duration of 5 years after they installed my "new"roof. Each time I called, KMI came out and patched the "new"roof. My ceiling showed multiple signs of water damage and when I seen a new development I called KMI and they would send over an employee to measure the water damaged spot and patch it. On February 5, 2022 the ceiling began to peel and then the ceiling collapsed. I called KMI and reported this issue to them. KMI told me that nothing inside or out was covered and they could put on another "new roof" and a sister beam for additional fees. KMI came out and reported that it was a foundations issue. I hired a foundation company who reported this was not a foundation issue. On February 12, 22 the structural inspector came out and charged 200.00 for a written report and took pictures of the roof. The structural inspector mentioned adding a pitch on the roof. On Feb 18, 22 KMI came out and looked at the ceiling and said the ceiling joist was cracked. I was having work on my hardwood floors done and KMI asked that I not have the finishing product put on my floors until they completed their report of the roof. I had to wait an entire month for KMI to communicate with me regarding the report which took place Feb 22,22. Nothing was done and there was no more communication from KMI to me. I have contacted the BBB, other roofers and had my lawyer draft a statement regarding the poor workmanship of the roof. Also, I included a denial letter from my insurance company. In an effort to save my roof I would sweep water and snow from the roof that I had replaced and cover the roof in an attempt to keep from further damage. I have had to spend more money after the roof was fixed to try to and keep my home safe from what water I could.

Great guys; worked into the evening under lights for appx 2 hrs to complete job because it was suppose to rain the following day. It did rain the following day and a very leaky was totally repaired. Good job! And the coordinator, Patrick, was thorough, pleasant, patient, and quite professional...

First impressions were great. Clean, neat and took time to explain everything to me and was patient with all my questions. I received estimates right then - without having to wait for them to be mailed like the other 3 roofers I am waiting on. I haven't made a decision with my roofing yet so I can't comment on the work.

KMI arrived as scheduled to give an estimate. Due to heavy rain they were not able start for about a week to ten days, but there was a period with no rain and the workers were there. They tore off the roof, cleaned up, and replaced the roof. There were additional roof layers which cost extra, but I was notfied of the modification of estimate. No more leaks. Great job! I am very happy!

Patrick and his team are very professional, responsive, do fine workmanship, and deliver as promised. They stand behind their promises. I would highly recommend them to anyone and hire them again if I have additional projects they specialize in.

Very reliable -- they always explained what they were doing and did what they said they would do. Also flexible -- worked with us on some special conditions of our house where other companies said they could not do it.

Patrick showed up within 30 mins of first contact. He made a thorough inspection of the damaged portion of the roof and provided a detailed estimate, Then showed up on time for repairs and accomplished same promptly. All along provided useful technical information and was resourceful about additional issues with my roof. I look forward to employ KMI as my roofer indefinitely.

They came out and signed a contract and never came back as agreed the Monday before Thanksgiving. We experienced a bad leak in December and had to tarp our house til spring. Then KMI called and left a message Jah 5, 2009 and said they could do our roof now. The weather is still too cold to have our roof torn off.

I needed a job done in a very short time and done within an existing budget. Patrick from KMI made it happen for me. I've already hired KMI for a second job and have started talking with him about a 3rd job.

Othern than poor communication when there was going to be a work delay, the finish product was good.

Ed was very courteous and responded promptly to all my questions/calls. There were a couple minor glitches along the way with my roofing/gutter/fascia project, but everything was resolved fast. A job well done!!
