When choosing a place to stay in Branson, you have a ton of options. Treehouse condos provided pics of their condo rentals. From the looks of it, there was adequate space and it appeared clean. The price sounded fair and the location was convenient for our planned activities.
Upon arrival on Thursday night, we were totally disappointed to see that there was construction all around the entrance to our building. Decks were in various stages of disrepair, saw horses were around the entryway along with piles of wood, and there were nails all over the place that had fallen down into the area where our condo was located. When you sign up for a peaceful weekend at the lake, the last thing you want to see is construction going on all around! We wish that the management would have let us know that there was construction going on the unit we chose on line so that we could have chosen another one.
The condo was tidy and appeared clean. There was adequate space for two people. I think the worst thing about the condo (and I forgot to write this in my review on TripAdvisor) was that there was enough hot water for ONE of us to get HALFWAY through our shower with warm water. This was all weekend. My husband would shower then I'd have to wait 20 to 30 minutes if I wanted hot water. Unacceptable. Even the Super 8 has plenty of hot water!!
My husband did not tell me at the time, because he did not want me to freak out, that he was pulling the coffee maker out to the front of the counter on Saturday morning and found a live roach!! Had he found one more we would have packed up and left but he did not see another. How gross! You cannot say a place is clean when there is a roach present.
Needless to say, we will not be recommending this place to anyone and we will not be staying again. They have a variety of higher priced condos to choose from-however-we do not want or need to spend hundreds of dollars on a room as most of our time in Branson was spent out of the room. We DID expect-for over $100 a night-a clean place to stay, and for pete's sake...a hot shower! I am not a very picky person but a shower is non-negotiable. We would have been better off at a chain hotel for that price.
This was not the worst place we have ever stayed-but it was not worth going back to or worth recommending.
