 + -1 moreTheir 800 call center appeared to be responsive, and i liked what i heard on phone, but the actual Kansas City office/provider never responded. We reached out multiple times - and nothing. Found somebody outside the "Angies" list... :)

 + -1 moreThe service man calls the night before around 8-9 pm to let you know he is coming the next day. Will not answer when you return call to reschedule if you cannot be inside to let them in. They do this on purpose because spraying just the outside of your home is considered a full service. I was with them for 6 months and only able to have the inside of my home treated one time. Lazy and manipulative.I asked the manager to call me back and have never been able to reach them.

 + -1 moreI haven't had any bug problems. If there is a problem, Orkin come out and retreat. They write up what they did, any new problem detected. They indicate whatever insecticide they used.
Description of Work: I get seven treatments a year. The amount is for one treatment. Orkin sprayed around the outside of the house as a general treatment.

Description of Work: Complete perimeter protection on 1 ft intervals. Application to active termites in interior wall. The product used is the best termiticide available today with good soil residual and slow kill to allow workers to carry product back to colony for a successful elimination of the colony.

Description of Work: I have had Orkin providing insect/pest control for approximately 10 years. When they first started, I had problems with carpenter ants, spiders and silverfish. Commercially available home use products just weren't doing the job. Their local rep was very concientous, and thorough, and provided a treatment program for the entire house (Inside and out, basement to attic). Treatment quickly brought the insect problems under control, Over the years, their professionals have kept the house essentially insect and rodent free. And I haven't had to worry about pets and grandkids accidentally contacting residual chemicals..

 + -1 moreThey are reputable, and wherever we have lived in the country, they have been there. They claim to have been around for about hundred years. Overall, they are pretty good, and we are satisfied. Their price is competitive, I suppose. I am not happy that they do not put on shoe covers when they come into the house and walk over my carpets. I would use them again in the future; in fact, they will be here tomorrow for the regular treatment.

 + -1 moreWe had seen signs of carpenter ants. The estimator arrived on time and found proof of the ants as well as termites. The servicemen also arrived promptly and went about their work. They each let me know when finished. The service is fairly expensive, but we will call them again if needed.
Description of Work: Estimator inspected our home and offered choices for treatment for carpenter ants and assorted spiders and bugs and also for termites. An exterminator came the next day and sprayed for the ants and other insects. Another exterminator came the following week and sprayed for termites.
